George sat in front Wilbur again. He can still remember the last time they did this friendly date since they trolled twitter about Dream meeting up with them years ago.
Now there they were again, but this time the conversation was something George wanted to avoid. But from the look that Wilbur was sending George, he knew he can't run away from this one.
He sighed as Wilbur raised an eyebrow at him. "George. You gotta talk about this at some point." He said with a frown.
It had been a week or two since the fight and Daisy and George can't seem to see themselves in the same room with each other.
"I don't know what's going on Wilbur." George admitted as he gripped his hair. Wilbur tilted his head as he listened.
"We had fights like these before. Where it was always about the people we're seeing, in the end we would resolve it. But now it just seems different." He said.
"What changed then?" Wilbur asked. George looked back up at him, "What?" he asked. Wilbur sighed, "You said that this always happen and you always fix it." he said and George nodded,
"Then maybe something changed between the two of you which is why you guys just can't seem to fix it now." He explained.
George sighed and shrugged, "I don't know. It's always me looking out for her. I just want what's best for her-" "But do you listen to her when she says something that is what's best for you?" Wilbur asked.
The twin frowned at his best friend, "I try to. It's just-" he stopped himself. At that moment it hit him.
George didn't know why he didn't listen to Daisy. He didn't and couldn't remember why he stopped listening to her but he did. He just never expected that she would get tired. But she did.
"Maybe..." George trailed as he fidgeted with his fingers. "I got used to the fact and idea that Daisy was always there." he admitted with a sigh.
Wilbur frowned as he continued to listen to George. "Daisy was always there. No matter bad choices I make. She was there to tell me I told you so but then comfort me right after. She was there for every late night drinking or drives. She was there for every milestone I had. Daisy..."
George licked his lips as his heart dropped, "Was the only girl that wasn't family that stayed by my side without question. And now she's gone." He said.
This made the taller boy confused, "George, she's still here. You can fix this, talk to her-" "No she isn't. She has Jared now." He grumbled.
Wilbur's eyes widened in shock, "George what are you saying?" he asked as he realized what really was happening to his friends.
"Wilbur what is there to be confused about? Daisy doesn't need me, she has Jared now." He said with a scoff.
"Then maybe that's how she feels too." Wilbur concluded as he crossed his arms. George sent him a confused look making Wilbur sigh.
"Maybe Daisy feels you don't need her anymore now that Heather's there." he said. George sighed, "Then why would she say that Heather cheated?" he asked.
Wilbur nodded, "Has she ever lied to you?" he asked. George shook his head, "No but she always tried to ruin my relationships-" "But has she ever been wrong about it? Has she went out of her way, against your friendship to tell you something about a person you're dating just for the heck of it?"
George became silent and with that reaction Wilbur knew. "Think about it George."
