Daisy frowned as she failed to get any reaction from Gabi. The girl had been locked in her room after the whole situation with her ex boyfriend and best friend.

The blonde pulled out her phone as she read another string of texts from a very worried Wilbur. But before she could reply a knock was heard.

She sighed and walked to the door. She took her time as she took deep breaths. She grabbed the door handle and swung the door open.

Daisy pursed her lips and moved to the side to let him in. George sighed and walked inside his twin sister's and best friend's apartment.

He took off his jacket and hung it on the rack before walking toward his twin's room. "Has she moved?" he asked quietly.

Daisy sighed and shook her head and followed after him. "No. I tried so hard George." She said. He looked back at her and frowned, "I know you do." He said before turning to the door and talking to Gabi.

She stood there awkwardly, her and George had yet to be in this close proximity since their last fight.

She clenched her jaw as she looked at the floor. A few minutes later, the door clicked and the two looked at Gabi's door.

George grabbed the handle but looked at Daisy. The blonde hummed and nodded before turning around leaving the twins some privacy.

Daisy turned off the stove when the water had boiled. She poured herself a cup for her tea when George walked in the kitchen.

"Do you want some?" she asked. George hummed, "Yes please." He said.

She poured him a cup as well, working her way around their kitchen as she prepared his tea by heart.

Daisy knew how George liked his tea from the amount of times she made it since college.

"So..." George trailed. She hummed and placed the cup in front of him before sitting across him.

"Daisy told me about your date last week with Alfred." He said. Daisy clenched her jaw. She knew it was gonna be too good to be true.

"Yeah so?" she asked as she sipped her tea. George huffed and crossed his arms. "I told you he isn't-" "You don't get to do that anymore." She cut him off as she glared at him.

George rolled his eyes, "Yes I do. I am your best friend." He said. She scoffed, "You don't get to control my life-" "I just want what's best for you! Why can't you just listen to me?!" he yelled as he cut her off.

They stared at each other. Daisy had her fists clenched as George glared at her. She let out a scoff, "I can't believe you George." She said as she grabbed her cup, placing it on the sink.

"I'm just looking out for you." He said as he stood up. "And you're unfair." She said.

He stood in front of her stunned, she sighed and looked away, "You want to control mine but I don't get a say on yours what the fuck is this?"

"Daisy-" "Gogy?" Gabi's voice cut him off. They turned to see Gabi standing by the doorway with her blanket around her shoulders.

"Yeah?" He asked as he turned to his twin. "Are you guys fighting again?" she asked. Daisy shook her head, "Not that much Gabs." She said as she patted her head.

Gabi frowned and George sighed, "Don't worry about us Gabs." He said as Gabi nodded, "Have you guys seen my phone? I think I lost it." she muttered as she looked at the two of them.

George and Daisy let out a laugh before helping Gabi to find her phone. The two shared a look before sighing. Clearly there was still tension between them after last month.
