Scott found himself in Rivendell. It seemed normal. It was like corruption was never a thing. He walked around to see if anything else had changed and yet nothing seemed out of the ordinary besides the no corruption of course.

He wandered around and walked right into Xornoth? He knew Scott by name but Scott didn't know his until he had asked. "You're acting like you've never seen your brother before! You know, I would say you're acting weird but you always act weird."

"Hey! I'm not weird!" Scott retorted back with a quiet huff. Xornoth(?) grinned and responded back with, "There's the little brother I know and tease! C'mon, mom and dad will be here soon." Xornoth(?) Turned on his heels and walked away. Scott decided to head to the castle he had once owned, muttering things to himself.

"It worked! I-" Scott stops when a voice over spoke his own. "What worked? What are you on about now?" The voice sounded familiar. Like he's heard a million times over and he'd still wouldn't get tired of hearing it. Scott almost immediately recognized him. The man he had fallen for in a past life. (Or multiple technically speaking.)

"Jimmy?" Scott's voice was laced with confusion yet hope. Just a little hope that it isn't a dream. That it isn't some alternate reality that Scott couldn't have. One where nothing bad had happened and he got to marry the man he had loved so dearly.

"C'mon the food is ready. And if you let it get cold, you're on clean up duty for next week." Jimmy said, rushing inside. Scott muttered a quick response of, "Coming!" before looking off into the distance. He decided to enjoy this moment to the best of his abilities.

"..AKE UP!" Scott could barely hear the voices surrounding him. His head was beating loudly and it was starting to annoy him more. Hands were gripping onto him for dear life. That's when it hit him. He was alive again. Why? Why couldn't he have stayed in his peaceful limbo. The voice continues to speak to him, or at least tries to. Scott didn't want to be back. He was happier in the after life that he got to pick.

"Please.. Please wake up.." The voice muttered again. The calling sounded desperate and familiar yet again. Suddenly the world grew brighter as soon as Scott opened his eyes. "..What happened..? Where.." The elf's(?) voice whispered in a hushed tone. He soon realized that Jimmy was looking down upon him. His face lit up with a bright smile of relief.

"You're okay! Oh I am so happy! Gem! He's awake!" Jimmy called out, looking over his shoulder. "I told you you had nothing to worry about. I'll ask Sausage to bring in some water for him then. I've got to go get more resources. I'll be back." Gem said, her voice a little more distant meaning she was further away from him. A door creaks open, footsteps follow out, then it slams shut once more.

"Hey.. How are you feeling? I know I kinda spooked you and I didn't mean to, I was just worried about you and all." Jimmy leaned away from Scott and fiddled with his button up shirt. "I'm.. I'm doing fine I guess.. My chest hurts but that's it..Why am I here?" Scott asked, tilting his head to the side to see Jimmy more clearly.

"You tried to kill yourself didn't you? We're tending to your wounds... Scott, why would you- Why would you do that?" Jimmy asked, pausing in between to collect his thoughts. He looked at the cyanette and rested his hand on Scott's own. Scott could tell Jimmy was trying to be nice, trying to not let the guilt, worry, and sadness swallow him whole.

"It was the only way. It had to be done. Why would you save me?" He was aware that it was a dumb question. It was obvious but he still wanted to hear it from Jimmy. "Because I love you, Scott! You can't just kill yourself because it'd 'be better'! I'd rather die happy than live a long life without you!"

Scott flinched at Jimmy's raised voice. He knew he shouldn't have because the codfa- codboy(?)- would never hurt Scott in any way. Jimmy's face softened and whispered an apology. Suddenly the door swings open. Sausage was walking over with a cup of warm water while apologizing quickly for startling them.

"Sorry, sorry, I rushed here when I heard about you being awake." Sausage said placing the water on the bedside table and helping the elf(?) sit up. "It's fine don't worry about it but uh.. You two look different.. Not in a bad way of course! I was-" Scott couldn't bring himself to finish the sentence so he opted for drinking the water to shut himself up.

"A few things have changed since the last time you were awake. Welcome to Afterlife SMP!" Sausage said only to rant about it while Scott listened quietly and the blonde was sound asleep. Jimmy looked like he needed it anyways. He had dark circles under his eyes clearly signifying the fact that he had not slept in a while.

Scott, surprisingly liked this life a lot better than his last though, he still wishes to go back to his sweet limbo.

"Wake up," they said. He didn't.

A/N: I didn't want this to be that long but I got side-tracked so...

This is definitely the longest one in this entire challenge but it was worth it. (I didn't want it to be too long so I cut it short at the end and rushed it.)
