Scott had been feeling uneasy about his ice powers since he had hurt Gem. He thinks they're bad which they kinda are but it's not his fault. He hated to walk outside only to see fearful faces so he stopped doing that.

Of course that didn't stop a few people from visiting from time to time. It doesn't stop them from asking questions either. Though, he thinks they caught on once Scott started repeating the same thing every time they asked. They stopped bothering him after that.

Those who truly cared would visit Scott at least once a week just for a quick check up to see if he was okay. Scott replied with the same answer every time so they slowly drifted away from Scott. Part of the elf wanted them to leave him alone while the other wished someone could give him the comfort he's missing.

At some point, the comfort he had lacked was given to him in a way Scott didn't expect. Or maybe it was expected to some just not who thought of it. Because according to what Scott heard after the event, Jimmy and Sausage had planned it just for him. Truth be told, the elf was glad that Jimmy had planned it because the codhybrid knew Scott better than anyone. But Sausage? Wasn't he Scott's enemy and love rival? That was besides the point.

Maybe using magic to make a never-melting ice rink wasn't a bad idea but the fact that Jimmy didn't know how to skate in the first place was. Like who suggests doing something with someone when they have no experience in it at all? Anyone besides Jimmy would think it's a bad idea. Surprisingly enough, Sausage was decent at skating. Perhaps it was because Scott may or may not have frozen his port. Though he had to admit,

Ice Skating was definitely a fun thing to do to help him get over his fear.
