Scott never really liked Valentine's Day. Then again, he never really had anyone to celebrate it with. It was going to be the same this year but someone- well, some people?- Asked him out. He expected Jimmy to be turning up at his door but he did not expect the other. To be fair, didn't Sausage like Jimmy at first? What happened then? Or did nothing happen at all and it was just some stupid prank?
"Will you be our Valentine?" Sausage and Jimmy asked in unison. There was a slight pause for a response. "I'm sorry, what?" Scott choked over his words. "Will you be our Valentine? I know we never really had the bestest of starts but.." Sausage's voice trails off. "'Bestest' isn't a word. You know that right?" Scott said, still slightly dazed. "IT ISN'T?!?" Jimmy practically screamed. "Scott, Jimmy- Please."
"Right, okay, but why so sudden? Didn't you like Jimmy? Unless you're hoping that we could be a polyamorous relationship, I don't see this working out." The cyanette said, accepting the flower bouquets from both.
"Yea! We were hoping for a polyamorous relationship because- uhm.. We both like you and you don't have to accept of course.." Sausage falls silent, a light pink dusts his cheeks. Jimmy, who was distracted by a white rabbit, finally says, "I figured this could work out over time. You don't have to like us immediately but we still want to give it a shot if that's okay with you."
"I guess I could try but it isn't a guaranteed successful relationship, alright?" The elf mutters, examining the bouquets of poppies, dandelions, and orchids. Sausage's and Jimmy's face lights up, a big smile spread across their face.
A sigh escapes Scott's mouth. "I will be your valentine. Try and impress me this time, will ya?" Scott says, walking back in to get changed. The codhybrid and blood sheep briefly look at each other, shrugs, and goes inside to wait for their Valentine.
In the end, It was the first and best Valentine's Day the three ever had.

A/N: Not the longest but definitely one of my favs. I'm sure we can all agree that Scott was awkward on the date while the other two tried to make it as comfortable as possible.
