Chapter Five
"You two remember my childhood imaginary friend Blue," I said and they both nodded as we drove. "Well turns out Castiel is Blue," I said and they both turned back to look at me, Sam longer than Dean. "He said he was assigned to me upon birth, my... Guardian angel." I said and Sam turned more Dean chuckled. "Like literally!" I said. "How many times did you two abandon me? He was always the one to pop up and sit with me. So the black and red-eyed men didn't come and scoop me up like the multiple times they tried." I said and Sam looked away guilty, he huffed, he was the one who left me alone the most. "Damn Cas walked me home more times than you guys did."
"Okay, we get it!" Dean groaned. "We sucked as brothers." He said and I hummed. "Anyway, he's been around you your whole life-"
"Well until I didn't need him anymore," I said frowning. "Anyway, Halloween is in 3 days, and I heard about this guy," I said and they hummed. "Luke Wallace Choked on 4 razors after eating one piece of candy," I said turning my laptop, "A candy out of a brand new bought that day bin candy," I said and they hummed.
"Looks like we got a case," Dean said pressing on the gas.
Dean was the one to find the first hex bag, so it was a matter of time before the next body popped up, and it did, fast, that same night a girl died at a party from drowning... In a bobbing-for-apples bin- that boiled her skin in the process. I followed Dean to the girl dressed as a cheerleader.
"You wouldn't happen to know Luke Wallace?" Dean asked and she looked at us as we pulled out ID. "Agent Seger."
"Agent White," I said.
"Whos Luke Wallace?" She asked.
"He died yesterday," I said and she shrugged.
"I don't know who that is." She said blatantly. I looked behind me seeing Sam holding a hex bag, and I hummed. We went back to the hotel and Dean and I sat together doing Vic's research.
"I'm telling you guys, these Vics are squeaky clean!" Dean sighed.
"I don't know, this case isn't screaming- vengeance of the witch!" I said and Sam pointed at me.
"Maybe because it's not about that." He got up and came to the table sitting next to me.
"Insightful!" Dean said sarcastically.
"Maybe this witch isn't working a grudge, it's working a spell." He said and I hummed.
"Wait wait! That uh... Halloween one?" I asked and Sam nodded.
"Three blood sacrifices over three days. The last before midnight-"
"On the day of the final harvest." I finished and dean looked confused. "In the Celtic calendar it's Halloween night," I said and he hummed.
"What are the sacrifices for?" Dean asked.
"The rising of a demon, of Samhain. See dean he's the origin of Halloween!" I said and Sam nodded.
"The celts believed that Halloween was the one night a year the veil between the dead and the living was the thinnest," Sam explained. "It was Samhain night, masks were put on to hide from him, sweets left on doorsteps to appease him faces carved on pumpkins to worship him." He said and I hummed.
"Turnips... Actually." I mumbled and Sam rolled his eyes. "He was exorcised centuries ago," I said and Dean hummed.
"So even though he took a ride downstairs the tradition stuck?" He asked.
"Becoming modernized of course. I bet you the majority of the bunch doesn't even know the origin of Halloween let alone how it became what it is today." I hummed. "Samhain was feared because he was the closest thing to a devil to mortal people," I said and
