"Mr. Lee wishes for you two to meet today," Heeseung said, making Jay smirk. "I'm pretty sure it's about your deal with him."

"I didn't break my leg and arm for nothing." He said, making Jake and Sunghoon scoff.

Y/N watched him as she sat next to Sunghoon, anxiety filling her again. She knew her father too well to believe he would actually keep his promises. Because he never did.

"We're a step closer to knowing the truth," Sunghoon said and Y/N fidgeted with her fingers as she listened. "Once we're one of them, it would be easy to get information."

"I guess so," Heeseung shrugged but Y/N could notice his little smirk. "We'll have access to more data."

"We'll soon know whoever dared to lay his filthy hands on our families," Jay said, his eyes holding so much grudge. "They'll have to pay for it very dearly."

"Are you going with him?" Heeseung asked and all eyes were on Y/N.

"I..." Y/N frowned. "No."

"Why?" He raised an eyebrow, his eyes still on her.

"I don't know," she said. "I think Jay meeting him alone would be better since it's their deal. But I'll follow him."

"Me too," Sunghoon said. "Jake too, right?"

"The fuck?" Jake exclaimed but then it hit him, Y/N was going too. "I mean, yeah sure."

"Dude, what's wrong with you?" Frowning, Sunghoon shook his head.

"I'm going too," Niki said out of the blue, making Jake scoff.

"Wow, you?" He laughed.

"Shut up."

"You ungrateful brat." Jake glared at him before cleaning his throat. "Anyways, the four of us will follow Jay. But what about the others?"

"We'll stay with Heeseung," Jungwon spoke, and Jake nodded. "Sunoo has some school work to do and I'll plan our next missions."

"I'm just gonna have some ramen and watch you guys," Heeseung said, crossing his arms and leaning on the couch.

"Okay, we'll be ready in a few," Sunghoon said, and before they knew it, each one was doing his thing. Y/N went to get dressed properly, wearing her matching black jacket, pants, and boots.

Just then, someone knocked on her door before she opened it, being met by Jay right then. "Hey," He said, softly smiling. "Thanks for coming along."

"Yeah, of course." Smiling back at him, she said. "We're a team, we go together."

A smile broke on his features before he ruffled her hair. "Why are you so cute?" He said, chuckling.

"I..." Y/N felt embarrassed before she chuckled along with him. "I hope everything goes well today."

"It's gonna be alright, don't worry." He smiled. "Everything's gonna be okay."

Yeah. Right.

And there he was, sitting in the VIP section of a café while waiting for Lee Kwang to show up. Jay put his crutches by his side and looked out of the window at the black car that was parked not too far.

The thought of Y/N crossed his mind, making him remember how she bluntly confessed. He knew it was hard for them to be in love while having such lives, but he did want her.

But real love is always chaotic. You lose control; you lose perspective. You lose the ability to protect yourself. The greater the love, the greater the chaos. It's a given and that's the secret.
