"Promise me you'll be fine," Y/N said as she grabbed Jay's hand and stared at him with desperate eyes. Although she tried to convince him not to go, Jay was so prone to destroy everything and anyone that destroyed his family and life.
"I will." He smiled, softly stroking her hair before he slowly kissed her forehead. "I promise."
They stared at each other for a while, longer than they should. Their eyes said words they couldn't speak, words that went deep into their hearts. The only thing they heard was each other, though no one was saying a word.
"I'm going too but no one is worried about me." Jake scoffed, catching Y/N's attention before a smile found its way on her lips. And before he knew it, she turned him to her and wrapped her arms around him. And to say that Jake was surprised would be an understatement.
"Please don't get hurt too, okay?" Y/N muttered as Jake froze in her arms. Never in his life had he heard such words, and her words warmed his heart right then. He couldn't help but smile, although he tried his best to hide it. But Y/N indeed made him feel things he once never wanted to feel.
No one asked how or why Jake wasn't distant from Y/N anymore, they just smiled and found it really nice to see him changing. It was such a sight to see, Jake who never allowed anyone to walk into his comfort zone, melting in Y/N's embrace.
"It's time," Jungwon spoke, and everyone was ready to head for their mission. Jay gave Y/N a last look before he walked outside, Sunghoon, Jake, Jungwon, and Sunoo following after him. And Y/N stood there, staring at the door with a heavy heart.
"Are you gonna stay there?" Heeseung called from the living room, making her sigh and head towards him. He's on his laptop with his headphones on, talking to the boys from time to time and showing them the way.
"I hope everything would be okay..." Y/N muttered as she sighed. "If anything happens to them I-"
"You like Jay?" Heeseung's sudden words made her freeze. "Don't give me that look because it seems like it."
"You can... tell?" Y/N asked, her eyes slightly widening. "I mean-"
"It's so freaking obvious," he scoffed. "And it's more obvious that he likes you too, or loves you, whatever. You guys are dumb."
Y/N didn't reply to him, and instead, looked down at her hands as she fidgeted with her fingers. She was so anxious and afraid that something bad would happen to him or that her father would try to hurt him. Lee Kwang would never give his shares to anyone and she knew it.
"This is gonna be so messed up," Heeseung sighed, shrugging as he took a bite of his ramen. "Not that I care anyways."
"What?" Y/N asked, not understanding anything.
"No, it's nothing." He smiled. "Do you want some ramen? It's the one you like."
"I don't feel like eating," Y/N spoke, making him roll his eyes.
"Why are you so sad? It's not like something bad will happen to them. Everything will be alright, okay? So, don't feel so down." He said, trying to make her smile and stop thinking about the worst scenarios.
"Right..." She said. "They're strong, nothing can hurt them."
"Yeah, haha..." Heeseung laughed awkwardly. "I'm sure they'll be okay." Giving her a smile and a pat on the back before he stared back at his screen.
Oh, how wrong they were.
Jay and the others reached their destination, ready for their mission. Sunoo and Jungwon already went on top of the building next to the factory and got out the sniper rifles that they ironically always carried in a guitar bag.
