Chapter Six

Blaze picked up a burger and fries then started heading back to Ava's room once he got to Ava's room he had to stop in the doorway because there was a nurse looking at Ava, "so?...How is she?" Blaze asked as he slowly came into the room.

The nurse looked over her shoulder and smiled "she'll be okay now you've saved her life Mr.? sorry I haven't gotten your name yet" the nurse asked, "Dixon Mr Dixon miss" Blaze replied as he looked over to Ava who looked red in the face.

"So if she's okay then why is she so red?" Blaze asked the nurse, the nurse then looked at Ava's face and blinked "it could be the I.V? Or the meds going though?" the nurse replied, but she checked all of Ava's wires anyways then she checked her blood pressure everything was good except that she was dehydrated the nurse didn't know why.

The nurse then ran out of the room "I'm just going to go find a Dr I'll be right back" the nurse yelled Blaze then went up to Ava and put down her food in front of her, "how do you feel? Ava?" Blaze asked her as he sat in front of her Ava shook her head not able to talk Blaze grew worried.

"Can you not even talk? What's wrong?" Blaze asked Ava just held her throat then she grabbed his hand and held on tight, Blaze looked down and saw that her hands were even growing red Blaze then looked back up at her, she then leaned towards him and kissed him.

Blaze just let it happen this time he let his urge take over and they kissed each other deep and needingly minutes later Blaze broke the kiss as he sensed the nurse and another coming towards the room, Ava looked confused and sad Ava poked him and stared at him with questions in her eyes.

Blaze just gave her a smile and got up and went towards the window Blaze then stared in space as he didn't know what to do he didn't know how to help his human Blaze shook himself "his human? Ha! Yeah right not even if hell froze over" Blaze side but he could help but notice he was clamer.

He had calmed down his urge ever time he was near her no matter if it was just being near her his fame and urge had be calm and not wanting to burn him up, just as he turned around to face Ava the nurse and Dr had gotten to the door, the Dr noticed Ava right away "how do you feel miss?" the Dr asked as he poked and prodded around her.

Blaze itched and itched to rip the Dr apart and he didn't know why so he backed away and sat in the chair Blaze made himself just watch and try to stay calm they were helping her after all, but for some reason he had a feeling they were just making her worse like they didn't want her to live.

Once Blaze thought about that he got up in a rush and ran "excuse me I'll be right back" Blaze told Ava, Ava sighed and looked towards the door sadly but she couldn't ask could chase him she was helpless so all she could do was hope, hope he'd come back to see she missed his company everytime he wasn't there.

She needed him around her she felt safer with him there. She felt anxious ever since she's started being around Blaze. She didn't know why she felt stronger, felt better and not scared, she felt like Chevy had never hurt her and needed him like she never needed a man before.

BUT she had to remember he was half dragon as well but maybe that's why she was obsessed with him it would explain all the weirdness between them it would explain why she wanted to kiss him all the time or touch him something, just then the Dr touched Ava's arm.

"Owch" ava silently screamed the Dr watched her face then looked at the nurse "I don't know what happened I don't know what went wrong, not yet anyways we'll have to do test" the Dr said to Ava and the nurse, Ava gave him a terrified look the Dr then patted her hand.

"Oh its fine just some swabbing and blood work simple things alright?" the Dr told her but Ava couldn't calm down Ava had gotten herself worked up she was so scared of the hospital was scared of being alone, she always had been scared of being alone ever since her dad had ran off.
