Chapter fifteen

A little bit later Blaze and Ava stopped and Blaze set her down "go into that cave there Ava I should be in soon Ava looked at Blaze then looked at the cave, "it's small will we both fit?" Ava asked Blaze nodded "yes we both can it just will be more cozy than the other cave" Blaze replied.

Ava nodded and went into the cave she then stared out at Blaze "what will you do?" Ava asked "I'm going to protect you, that's what I'll do, I'll fight him if I need even" Blaze told her as he looked out and around to see if he saw Chevy, soon enough Chevy had caught up with them.

"Don't fight each other for my sake, your friends or, were come on" Ava told him. First you want nothing to do with him now you don't care? Wow this is messed up" Blaze said, "I don't like fighting. I am scared of him, don't get me wrong but still" Ava told him.

"Besides it's you who is protective of me" Ava added and Blaze sighed "your right I am but only cause your my mate and you should stay with me and not be killed or used for evil or anything to that matter" Blaze pointed out as Chevy got closer, "get inside I'll deal with this" Blaze told her.

Blaze waited and waited till Chevy got near them Blaze then got close to Chevy he then turned into a dragon "what do you want Chevy? If it's the girl you want you can't have her anymore you'll have to go through me like I said" Blaze thought Chevy transformed as well "well if it's a fight you want then a fight you'll have" Chevy replied.

Ava peeked out to find that both of them had turned Ava blinked at Chevy "he's blue he's a blue dragon no wonder they kind of hate each other it's like red vs blue" Ava thought, Blaze snickered "no that's not why Ava" Blaze said.

"Stay hidden and don't come out okay?" Blaze told her as he took a step closer to Chevy, Chevy took a step back "what are you chicken now?" Blaze said with a grin Chevy stomped his foot "of course not!" Chevy replied, "well then don't back away" Blaze replied.

Chevy huffed through his nose "fine then pretty boy bring it on come on" Chevy yelled Blaze laughed "oh how you never learn Chevy oh how far you've fallen" Blaze told him Chevy huffed again and let out smoke this time Blaze then got close to Chevy and scratched him "oh cut it out" Blaze said.

Chevy's smoke went into the cave behind Blaze and Blaze heard Ava coughing Blaze looked back at the cave "I need to check on something" Blaze thought "oh no you don't pretty boy, your not going anywhere" Chevy replied, Chevy looked over Blazes shoulder non the less "so she's in there huh? Well once I finish you she'll be easy to grab" Chevy told him.

Now it was Blaze's turn to huff smoke in Chevys face "LEAVE GO don't bug us" Blaze warned him Chevy laughed "I'm not going anywhere without her" Chevy said, Blaze just shook his head, "just cause she has powers? You don't want her, you want her powers I can't believe you" Blaze said.

:An hour later:

Blaze swatted Chevy one last time and Chevy fell backwards and didn't get back up Blaze made sure that Chevy was down then Blaze went back to the cave and stared at Ava who was still staring at them both, "let's go Ava hurry up get on" Blaze thought.

Ava nodded and didn't say a thing as she got close to Blaze and waited as Blaze turned his paw so she could climb onto it she then climbed onto his back Blaze then turned his paw back to normal and looked around, "where to now Blaze?" Ava asked.

Blaze blew smoke out of his nose "I think we should go to your parents house then we should get out of here somewhere far from here I think for now anyways" Blaze told her, Ava blinked "what why can't you just deal with him? Lock him away or something?" Ava said.

"I'm not in the kingdom anymore. I can't do that. I could ask the queen about it but I don't know what we can do besides move even if the queen helps he'll still be around and mainly still alive though I don't want to have to kill him either, so yeah moving away somewhere is good" Blaze added.
