Chapter Nine

"Sorry I don't have anything to fix it with you'll just have to eat it the way it is at the moment" Blaze told her as he dug into his fish "I didn't notice all this time that it needed something I just thought it was good enough" Blaze told her.

Ava shrugged "I'm a half fae now and I noticed and your half dragon I guess your taste buds are different then a faes but still it doesn't matter I'll still eat it I'm very hungry, I guess with all this craziness we missed lunch" Ava pointed out Blaze nodded and grinned "guess your right we do have different taste" Blaze replied.

After they finished eating Ava got up and left for a walk in the woods. She knew the way to the lake now and with her newfound eyes she could see through the dark, Blaze wasn't far behind her but gave her space so she could look around and feel her new self.

Ava twirled around and around she loved the newfound breeze in her face she didn't know why there was a difference it was just the wind but there was a difference she guessed because she wasn't human and fae feel things way more than others.

Blaze got so excited for her that he felt like he was about to change into his dragon form again but he put a clamp on it he didn't want to change not yet he wanted her to have the spotlight of the moon not him, they then got to the lake and Ava did stop she just ran and jumped into the water.

Ava bent over and let some water onto her hands than she threw it upwards over her head Ava watched closely as the water came down onto her head, it was so much clearer "of course it is everything will be much different now" she told herself she then felt Blaze was near so she turned around.

Blaze put up his hands "i'm just making sure your safe that's all pretend I'm not here" Blaze said as he looked at Ava's wet body Blaze couldn't help but think what it'd be like with her shirt off with everything off" Blaze thought, Ava crossed her arms "you do realize I can hear your thoughts now right?" Ava told him as she narrowed her eyes.

Blaze laughed "no I haven't of course you can" he lied and looked away Ava shook her head "I still don't believe much of anything remember?" Ava told him as she grabbed some water and tried to throw it at him, Blaze backed away "nice try but it won't work I can feel what you're doing" Blaze admitted.

Ava laughed "oh come on though it's much fun in here" Ava told him and all Blaze could do is stare at her she was more beautiful in the water, water was sparkling off of her and he had to stop himself from dropping his jaw, Blaze cleared his throat instead "well have your fun in the forest I'll just watch out for anyone or anything" Blaze told her.

Ava sighed but nodded. She then turned around and walked to the edge of the lake and sat on the edge of the land. She then kicked her feet back and forth, Ava watched as the water came up onto her legs. She was still in shock at how clear she could see the water.

After a while the water got colder and Ava got out. She then walked towards Blaze who had fallen asleep by the tree or that's what Ava thought, as she got near him Blaze opened his eyes and smiled at her "are you done having fun or is there something wrong?" Blaze asked.

"The water's gotten cold I wasn't going to stay in there" Ava told Blaze, "oh yeah well I guess if it gets cold no one would want to stay in there" Blaze said, "oh haha now who's the smartie" Ava said Blaze got up and grabbed her.

"Do you want me to warm you up? Do I need to carry you?" Blaze asked with a grin Ava squirmed in his arms "let me go, right now let me go silly" Ava said as she tried to get out of his arms even more, Blaze's grin turned into a smile "oh don't test me Ava trust me I can hold on till you give up" Blaze told her.

Blaze then pulled her into his arms he then carried her back to the cave Ava squirmed all the way there "let me down you big oof" Ava said as Blaze finally set her down, "oh now now lets not name call I was just try to help out you were wet and cold" Blaze said Ava sat down by the fire pit.
