You finally told Price you'd like to have your dorm back to yourself, so he went back to his, and you two slowly started drifting and Price was showing up less to things such as training and dinner. Ghost says he has his ups and downs like that. Soap says he's retiring. Every time you try to check up on him he never answers his door or eats his food you leave outside his door. It's starting to worry you, only because you haven't seen him in 2 weeks since last training. I guess this got you out more with your mates in 141, but you wanted Price there too. You, Ghost, Soap, and a few other soldiers who can come and go, all sit around a fire. You can't stop staring towards Prices dorm hoping it draws him out. You slowly look towards Ghost, meeting his blue eyes illuminated by the fire. You get butterflies that you got the first day you met him. His eyes still showed interest but was he really? Soap starts playing music on a speaker and tries standing you up to dance with him. You giggle and laugh, Ghost intently watches making sure Soap doesn't do anything. Ghost goes and buys you and Soap a bunch of drinks. You three have the best night you have ever had. Between Ghost dancing with Soap like two idiots, Ghost calling out a soldier for being a "Chad", Soap admitting he's kinda gay for Ghost, and all around laughing and having fun. The adrenaline of Ghost speeding, and dodging in and out of traffic, to a cliff he wanted to take us to was amazing, but the jump off the cliff into the dark deep water below was better. Although at the end of the night you catch Soap checking you out, then winking at you. You felt butterflies, but you wouldn't ever date him. If anything you'd be friends with benefits.

A few days later you walk by Prices room and hear him crying. Your heart races, his door is locked, you don't have the key anymore. You do what your instinct said to, kick that bitch down. You kick by the door handle just as your were taught. Only problem is you were tired from working out so it took a few more hits than you're willing to admit. Finally you hear the door swing open and slam on the wall and you rush in the room and find him sitting up against a wall crying holding a note in his hand. You run and collapse next to him hugging him, he turns to you and holds you. He feels thinner than before. His room smelled stale. You finally calm him down and ask him what's going. He hands you the letter saying nothing. The letter read, "Dear Captain Price, We are very sorry to inform you that during the meeting last night, Kate Laswell declared that your time as Captain is over. We all had decided on this, not because of your actions, but your age. We are worried that some your age will not be able to keep up on the field. I am very sorry, your time as captain will be over on the date June 5. You are required to be fully packed and out on June 8. Any question will be answered, please call 041-555-8204
Thank you, Department of Military" Your gut sinks. You truly loved Price but dammit.. this is really gonna ruin your relationship.
