loud music blasted in the dorm room and jungwon turns up his music. ncity's ridin' slowly takes over his ears as the screams and terrible pop music outside slowly fades out. there was a huge reek of alcohol out there and he was glad he grabbed everything he needed and he doesn't need to leave his room. he knows his friends are also outside, which means he has no escape. then he hears a faint knock before he turns his music up. he at first did not want to open the door before hearing a familiar voice.

❝wonwoo? what are you doing here?❞

wonwoo quickly forces himself into the room. ❝i hate parties. i only came here because mingyu asked me. may i stay in here please?❞ he asks, with a cute look on his face.

jungwon smiles. ❝could never say no to that look hyung.❞

wonwoo thanks him and peeks at jungwon's phone. ❝what are you listening to?❞ he asks.

❝ncity's ridin'. it's good.❞

wonwoo cracks a smile. ❝you like ncity too?❞

jungwon laughs. ❝not like, i'm obsessed with them.❞

❝me too. mingyu claims their music is good but he's not like me and you kind of obsession you know?❞

jungwon nods. ❝i have some unfinished work to do. make yourself at home here. if you need anything, you can come to me, or go out there to grab it. don't stay outside for too long though. i don't want you coming back in here smelling like alcohol.❞

wonwoo nods. ❝'kay. can i borrow your book?❞

❝sure.❞

the two remain silent for a long time, perhaps a few hours, until a drunk mingyu barge in. ❝wonu~ let's go~!❞

wonwoo sends jungwon an apologetic smile and jungwon waves it off. ❝i'll see you tomorrow?❞ he says.

wonwoo nods again. ❝yeah. thanks for lending me your book by the way. i'll be back to finish it.❞ he smiles.

jungwon hands the book to wonwoo. ❝take it with you. just give it back when you finish it.❞

❝really? thanks!❞ wonwoo smiles and hugs jungwon. ❝bye.❞

jungwon waves at wonwoo and closes the door behind him as he hear that the music had faded and he realized many people had already headed back to their dorm. he urged to help clean up outside, but he was not done being upset at sunoo. he did peek outside and he sees sunoo passed out on the couch. the latter let out a groan and brings himself to take a blanket and cover it over sunoo. he then picked up the leftover beer bottles, and the wine glasses and wipes off countertops with gross things like fruit, juice or wine all over it. there were some unknown things too, but jungwon did not want to find out so he continued to clean up the house, ending it off with sprays of air freshener, citrus-scented.
