We our weapons and got ready to face the Medusa...Sake....Thingamabob. Yeah, the MedusaSnakeThingamabob! That's its name!
Anyway, the MedusaSnakeThingamabob rose above us. It was huge with a capital h-u-g-e. Then it spoke.
"Who are you and what are you doing in my domain?", asked the MedusaSnakeThingamabob.
"W-we were j-just passing th-through,", stammered Amara.
"Yeah", I added. "Just passing through. Code beige", I told the girls. We grinned widely and slowly walked around the MedusaSnakeThingamabob to an open door behind her.
"Not so fast", the MedusaSnakeThingamabob said, using her snake head to block the door. "We haven't eaten yet." She grinned evilly.
"Um, we actually already ate and came out on this walk to digest", Astra told her. She was lying, and she was good at it. We hadn't eaten anything since the plane. Fooood, my stomach whined.
Shut up, I told it.

The MedusaSnakeThingamabob lunged at us. Astra and I jumped to the left and Amara jumped to the right. It looked at Amara. Hungrily. Amara let arrows fly. Most hit the dog part and a couple hit the snake part. It screeched and glared at Amara.
"AMARA LOOK OUT!!!", Astra and I yelled. It was too late. Amara looked into the MedusaSnakeThingamabob's eyes. She didn't turn to stone though. She just stopped moving. She was frozen in time. The MedusaSnakeThingamabob screeched again. Icicles appeared in front of her.
"GET THEM!!!", she roared. The icicles launched at us. We dodged and dodged and dodged but they kept coming. We were cornered into a corner.
"You'll never get out now", she laughed. "Kill."
