BERT
I finally finish all my late night work in the classroom. Fortunately, the chemistry teacher doesn't leave until precisely 8 p.m. So I am able to stay with his permission to finish my work since home is not an option. One step in that house, and my little brother is pestering me already,
"Play with me big bro!"
Last semester, when he was old enough to actually bother me too much, I would find myself playing cars with him till late, putting me way behind in my school work. Not how I want to spend this semester. It's the last semester and I want no mental distractions, whatsoever.
I turn to finally leave the classroom, but that's when, out of the corner of my eye, I see a jacket.
Achilles jacket. Hidden beneath his chair.
I pick it up. I remember Achilles calling Mrs. Marlow I believe? That's Jeans' house. The only reason why I know where he lives is because when walking home from school one day, my mother told me to drop off some lasagna to the Marlow's after the father passing away, due kidney failure. I remember waiting for someone to answer, and it was Jean who answered. Out of all people, it had to be him.
"What, shorty?" Jean sharpingly states. Refusing eye contact.
I look down, holding out the lasagna mom had just cooked. "It's for you and your family. My mom wanted to share her condolences to you. Me as well. I am sorry. I mean it" I scratch my head.
"Well... thanks." I look up. Is he blushing?
"Ya, of course. Well, off I go." I answer back, stutteringly. That was the first time I ever spoke to him. It was also the last. Ever since then, he can't even look at me.
Anyways...
"Off to the Marlows then..." I say.

ACHILLES
A full moon...
The burning...
The ringing...
The blasting, fucking sounds...
Make it all stop...
I breath irregularly. My eyes, turning yellow-blue. My teeth... My aching body...
"Achilles, I got you your-"
"Go away!" I scream.
Damnit. Bert. Why is he HERE?!
ahhh, I ache with intense pain. What the hell is going on. Tears stream down my face.
"I- I can't TAKE THIS!" I scratch the floor. The moon. Its- so strong. Sweat pours down my back onto the carpeted floor.
"Achilles!" Bert yells out. Looking up, I see him staring down running towards me.
No, man. Don't come close. NO... NO...NO...
I'm a-
I'm
a
...
MONSTER.

BERT
Oh my god. ACHILLES.
I stare down at what seems to be someone else. Or rather, something else.
"Go away, please. Don't come near me."
I- I'm a monster..." he growls, showing what seems to be sharp fangs like what you would see in the movies.
"Achilles, I-." What's going on? I don't know what to say. Should I leave. Should I stay? Got, just what the heck is going on?!
...
ACHILLES
Get away. EVERYONE. I have truly become the monster I said I would become sooner or later.
Just,
Get AWAY!
Tears continuing to fall down like rain.

Achilles gets up finally and jumps on his bed, crashing through the window into the dark night.
Oh... god.
oh god oh god oh god.
My hands tremble.
Is he...
really?
no way...

ACHILLES
I'm angry.
SO ANGRY.
RIP. KILL. DIE. FINISH.
JUST SO ANGRY.
I claw through the forest.
Die. Just die alre-
I turn around. THUMP!
Everything. Now black...

MATTHIAS
My son...
You are safe now. I am so sorry, my son.
Soon you will know who you are; who your FAMILY is. LET OTHERS HELP YOU. Don't do this on your own. Believe. Just, for now. Just believe and it will all soon be answered. I Promise.
The lady in red. Find her. Find her and put a stop to this...
and also...
Just remember this....
Don't forget me, son.
Don't forget me...
ACHILLES...
