Chapter 1: Actually I do
Keziah's POV
"Kezi! (pronounced as kaye-zi) wake up! Wake up!" My cousin, Jessa yelled
"urgh! Come on Jes! it's Saturday, and it's 7am, am I not allowed to sleep 'til I wanted? Just make yourself at home while I sleep or better yet join me" I whined sleepily pulling my covers and my pillow closer, prepared to doze off more
"oh, no no no darling, no more sleeping. You haven't told me anything about this new school you're now in, how was it?" I whimpered as she pulled my covers away leaving me no choice but to sit and talk to her. She's got that annoying smile on her face again, Not that she's ugly, actually she's one of the popular girls, but the kind one, she's funny, athletic, smart, and I don't know, perfect? Almost everyone wants to be her but no, not me.
"uh, it's great! Now can I sleep?" i answered rudely. She was shocked but then went back to pissing me of as she held to my blanket tighter.
"uh, sorry, no will do princess, you've got to have more to tell me than 'it's great' " she wiggled her eyebrows and winked
"what? Really, the school's great, people there are uh, friendly and I've got friends." what does she wanna hear anyway? Oh! I just want to sleep, come on, I've been staying up late these past days doing school works, I really am dead tired.
"oh really? No Friendlier terms?" she winked,
oh gosh, friendlier, I should've known, she's always waiting to hear my awful love stories, whenever she thinks she has given me enough time to have a story about me and someone else she just won't stop until she hears 'it'. I don't know how she does it, but she practically got spies almost everywhere, like when I dumped my exboyfriend when I saw him kissing someone else, that's actually at a beach my ex's family owns and that time when I skipped camp night traditions just to eat smores at a campfire near the shoreline and many more. At Farrington High, I know In every move I was being watched, my imperfections were compared to her perfections so she must've all eyes there, but I just can't believe even here in Morrison Academy, she has spies!
"hey, stop day dreaming! Just tell me!" as usual, one of her cons, she's IMPATIENT!
"there's nothing Jessa, I swear." please, please, let me through, she don't know anything or anyone there right?
"oh really?........ Ugh, that's boring Kezi! Anyway, I guess that pretty boy sitting beside you at school and who also became your friend is free right? I mean You aren't falling for him, are you?" she asked, okay, forget my wish, she does know people there, she is really THAT popular.
"a-aiden?" I blurted
"oh yes, him, i kinda like him, do you think he'll like me?" she asked me, batting her lashes,
No! No way!! Wait, why am I suddenly affected when she said she likes Aiden? I mean, yeah, Aiden is actually handsome, kind, a gentleman, sweet..... Wait! I didn't just describe Aiden like that, he's just my friend. Oh, who am I kidding? I know right from the start that I do like him, but should I tell Jessa?
"hey, Kez, snap out of it!" Jessa laughed as I regained my consiousness from my daydream "so, what d' ya think?"
"uh, Aiden is actually a great guy, and no you can't have him 'coz he's taken" I can't believe I told her that.
"aww, it's okay baby Keziah, you two are good for each other, you can have him" she smiled, oh, she thought I have Aiden, well I hope so too, but sadly not
"no Jes, you don't understand, Aiden's got a girlfriend, and it isn't me, well yeah, I also hope it would be me but sadly, even before I transfered, she's got this girlfriend who is a year ahead than us and they are an on and off couple since 6th grade."
"well that sucks,"
"i know right, "
"well, you know I can see a bright future ahead of you two, so just wait and both of you will be together in no time. You know, I do believe you're destined" she smiled
"Gosh Jes, I do wish you're right, but stop making me hope for something that's nearly impossible"
"whatever Keziah, anyway, he'll actually like you better if you'll fix yourself more darling. Let's go shopping!" she shrieked like a 'lil girl getting a new doll
"calm down, I can't I don't have money" I frowned, I really want to buy new stuffs to relax my brain from thinking about school works and to avoid me from stressing out but I've got money shortage today
"ah, no problem, I'll treat you everything you want" she smiled and I screamed thanks excitedly and got straight to the bathroom to prepare for the shopping.

Yeah I know the first chapter is kinda boring, but I promise as te story continues it'll better. :)) I am always having a hard time with where to start the story so here's what I came up with.. :))
