Chapter 4:
Keziah's POV
Jessa called me at 10am and got pissed when she found out I was still in bed. It's Sunday so I could stay in bed as long as I want 'coz I attend friday services, but when she said she's on her way and would be arriving in 5 mins, I quickly jumped off my bed and headed straight to my bathroom to prepare.
'gosh! what was that girl thinking? Why is she so excited about the party?' i thought changing into my shorts and my disney lettered 'awesome' print 3/4 shirt. Just when i was drying my hair, jessa came in my room
"hey there beautiful! Ready yet?" she giggled
I raised my eyebrows at her and she smirked "come on kei! Your pretty alright!"
I made a funny face at her and continued applying a bit of mascara, eyeliner and some lip gloss. I started to walk to my closet but Jes lifted my flat shoes she was holding but i shook my head, "nope" i said popping the 'p' "i'll wear my sneakers"
"i wont do that if i were you," Jes replied and i raised my brows
"and why's that?" i asked
"because you wouldn't want to remove your sneakers everytime you fit your shoes, do you? She smiled
"right" I nodded grabbing the flats she was holding and wore them grabbing my bag after
"ready?" she made sure and i nodded and we went to her car as she drove me to a store that is very, i mean extremely, expensive.
"really Jes?" i asked "you think I could afford things in this store?"
"nope" she smiled
I raised my eyebriw at her wondring, "then why bring me here then?"
" 'coz I pay!" she smiled
"seriously?" i asked again
"yep, and more questions means you dont wanna buy here" she said
"who doesn't wanna buy here? Come on!" i laughed getting off the car
Jessa's POV:
"Nope, too short" Keziah complained going back to the fitting rooms. We've been here for almost 3 hours and she still haven't found the 'right dress'. If it wasnt ' too short', 'it was to extravagant', or 'too formal', or 'too pink', or 'too red', or 'too conservative', nothing is right yet, ugh! I hope she'll find the right one soon, i'm starting to get really bored!
I was drifting to sleep on the couch I was seating at, "Jes! jessa!" Keziah squeeled and I ran to the fitting room she was at as fast as I could without tripping
"what?" I asked as I reach the room she was at
"I think this is it" she said, her back still facing me but she sounded happy, really happy.she slowly turned around to face me, and when she did, i was smiling as well. Gosh! She looks great, like an angel!
She was wearing a tube cocktail dress, which goes about 5 inches above her knees, it was royal blue and with sequence and embroidery, it wasn't VERY fancy but wen she wears it, she looks great, it shows her curves perfectly.
"That's perfect Kei!" I exclaimed and she smiled
"we'll take this," Keziah told the sales lady, whose been assisting us for the past hours, and started to head back to the fitting rooms but the sales lady stopped her
"ma'am, you should wear that while choosing your shoes so you could choose better" the sales lady smiled at her
"right" she nodded, and we went to the shoes section and went to the shoes that is color blue.
Keziah saw the shoes she wanted right away, and fit them, it was a blue stilletto with Gems, it was really nice. It goes along with the dress great!
I bought the dress and the shoes and saw the jewelries that I really think fits her well, but I hid it in my bag.
