When Jisung picked me up I just sat in silence. Once I had gotten into the car he had bombarded me with questions about Heeyoung.

'Is she alive?'  Yeah she was

'Did she seem hurt?'  She got shot in the head

'Do you think we'll be able to help her escape?'  Escape what? Hell

'Why aren't you saying anything ChunHei?'  How do I tell you that the women you love is dead... because of me.

"I just want to wait so I don't have to repeat myself" I say in a low voice. While we drive back to NCTs base I just think of a lie I could say. Maybe I can just say she's alive? But then NCT is gonna wanna help her. I could say that the mission was a total bust and she isn't there? Fuck I need to think of something.

Before I know we are here and the car is stopped. While Jisung closes his door I just take a deep breath in.  Pull it together you've lied in the past. I step out of the car and walk into the house, not waiting for Jisung. 

"Back so soon?" Shownu says as I step into the living area. I just nod and sit down next to Renjun. It was the only open spot open, other than the floor. "Chunhei why do you have blood on you?" Kun asked worriedly, which makes all the boys stop and look at me. 

My eyes are staring at the ground, thinking about what to say. If I don't lie I can't go through Shownu's plan. I finally decide to speak up, knowing exactly what I'm gonna say.

"A guard got shot by Mr. Lee" I say now looking up at them all. "Did you see her? Chunhei did you see Heeyoung?" Jisung ask pushing all the others out the way 

"yeah I did she's fine" I say looking at him in the eyes. I hope someday he can forgive me for this. "But she says she doesn't need help" I say making a quick glance at Shownu, giving  him confirmation that his plan is going into action. 

"Wait what?" Jisung says his voice quiet. He stands up and shakes his head. "She said she wanted to be with more powerful people and that she didn't love you to begin with" I say quietly trying to act as sad as I can. 

"No your lying" Jisung says as tears start to drop from his eyes. "Jisung I'm sorry" I say as I stand up to give him a hug but he shoves me back. "Look at me in the eyes and tell me everything you're saying is true" He says staring into my eyes. Him doing that makes me feel like he's staring into my soul. 

I can physically feel his hurt. I look at him back in the eyes, almost like having a staring contest. "She said she wanted to be with more powerful people and she didn't love you to begin with." I start pausing to think of what else. "I am so sorry Jisung" I say and he just walks out of the house, slamming the door in the process. 

"Let him cool down" Taeyong says as he looks at me. "Chunhei did she really say that?" Chenle asks eyes trained on the floor. "Yeah I asked her why but she said she didn't have to explain to me" I say and most of them shake their head and walk out. 

"I guess your team isn't needed here Shownu" Taeyong begins but is quickly cut off by Johnny. "maybe if we take down Mr. Lee then Heeyoung will come back to Jisung" Johnny says and the boys around him agree. 

"Ill talk about it with Jisung but for now everyone get some rest" Taeyong says and we all nod. "Come on Chunhei I'll take you to your room" Renjun says and I nod. "Chunhei we gotta be up early in the morning so get a lot of sleep" IM says giving me a look that I know too well. 

"Gotcha" is all I say as I head to my room with renjun.

That night I couldn't sleep at all. Every time I closed my eyes all I pictured was Jisung standing over Heeyoung dead body. 

I don't think I mentally can do this anymore. 

A/N Sorry for the long wait I couldn't decide how I wanted to continue this story but I think I figured it out. I hope you guys like this short short chapter! I didn't check for spelling or grammar mistakes <33
