"are you sure? we can get this cleaned up and-" jaemin says as he and jeno move out of my way. i smile at them and shake my head.

"shownu wants us to leave and work on mr. lees shit somewhere else and plus yall got some problems yall need to talk about" i say as i go and grab my suitcase. i assume they both nodded cause the only thing i heard was the door closing.

I continue to pack everything when i hear the door open. i turn around and im met with renjun. he has tears running down his cheek.

without saying anything i run up and hug him. i can tell that he broken right now. i mean of course he is, he just found out one of his best friends took away his chance of love, of happiness.

"i'm getting transferred to our unit in china" he croaks out. he sounds so defeated and i really want to hit jisung right now. i want to murder heeyoung. i want to do anything and everything to hurt everyone else.

"maybe that'll be a good thing," i start as i pull away from the hug. "you know how many people i've met without soulmates in china" i say apologetically.

it's true though china has more people who lost their soulmate than any other place. if two people who lost their soulmate really fall into love there is a rare chance that they both could get a new tattoo. their old one would still be there to never forget their old soulmate but they can find happiness again.

"you know how rare the chances are? it's 1 out of every 40 people" he says still in a low voice. he now sits down on the bed trying to not step on glass or anything that has broken during the fight.

"scientists changed it last year," i say sitting next to him. the tears are still streaming down his face and he's trying so hard to not only stop crying but to control his breathing.

"it's now 5 out of every 20 people" i say taking his hand into mine. he takes it and for a second it feels like both of our worlds stopped. it felt like i finally found someone who understands me.

"woah" is all i can say. i'm confused research showed that only people who have lost their soulmates can make new connections.

"please tell me that i didn't imagine that" he says looking at both of our hands. i shake my head and stand up. i go to open the door and i call out for kun.

he runs in here and looks at us worried.

"is everything alright? what's happened?" he says panicking. some of the other members of nct and mx followed behind him.

"this can't be happening" i say quietly as turn back and start to pace in the room. renjun got up and started to look at himself in the mirror. he's looking to see if he has a new soulmate tattoo.

"can someone tell me what's going on?" taeyong says now pushing at the crowd of men gathered outside my door. "i don't know chunhei called for me and then she started pacing and renjuns looking for something" kun tells him as the group look at us confused.
