keana: what time will you be here?

aubrey: i'll touch down there at around 1

aubrey: flight is at 11 tonight

keana: okay well i'll see you then

keana: what time should we meet? also where?

aubrey: i'll have my driver pick you up and where we're going is a surprise

keana: surpriseeee?!?!?!?? *soulja boy voice*

aubrey: ahahaha🙄 very funny

keana: i'm hilarious but anyways, i'll see you tonight then

aubrey: mhmm be ready by 6

keana exhaled as she got off the phone with her hair stylist. booking a last minute appointment was a no-go with her but since keana was desperate and her hair stylist had been doing her hair for awhile, she squeezed her in. she quickly called savannah while making sure that kori's sleepover bag was packed and ready. "hey keke! what's up girl?" keana could hear savannah's cheerful voice as she moves around and found kori's clothes and putting them in a duffle bag. "hey girl! so i need a favor." "okay, what is it?" keana picked up a pair of kori's shoes that were in her room and put them in the bag. "so i have a date and i need someone to look after kori for me. would you mind?" she zipped up the bag after adding kori's baby products that she used to bath with and also some hair products. "oouuu you got a date? with who? and you know i don't mind looking after my niece. you want me to come over or are you dropping her off?" "i'll drop her off now since i have a hair appointment anyways. i'll tell you about my date later." savannah hummed in agreement and said her goodbyes. after organising kori's bag and leaving it in the living room along with her coach handbag, keana headed to her daughter's bedroom where she found her snuggled up with her blanket and plush panda. knowing that kori wasn't a light sleeper, keana gently picked her up with her still wrapped around her blanket and headed to the living room to grab the bags and her car and house keys. she moved carefully with kori in her arms as she locked up and headed to her car, carefully tucking in kori in her car seat before getting in the drivers seat and heading over to savannah's apartment.

the events planner parked outside savannah's apartment complex and quickly dialled her friend's number. she told savannah that she was outside and waited for her to come downstairs. she exited the car and made her way to kori, unbuckling her from her car seat while grabbing her bag. she saw savannah making her way towards her and giggled as she watched her friend excitedly wave at her. "hey girl! and look at my little baby." she cooed as she grabbed kori into her arms while also grabbing her bag. "thank you so much for this, sav." savannah waved a hand dismissively at her comment. "you know i don't mind looking after kori. go have fun on your date and tell me all the details later." she nodded and got inside the car, waving at savannah while watching her head back to her apartment with kori in her arms. she started her car and headed to her appointment. keana spent the next three hours at the salon with her nails and hair being done.
