"I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more"

——

"Wear the red dress, keep your shoulders straight and please smile." I scowled hearing my mothers voice over the phone, I straightened the crease from my knee length one shoulder sleeve dress which has a slit which began from my mid thigh going down.

"Ouch." I groaned as the hair stylist my mother had sent over dug the black hair pin into my skull, mother had taken this too far. It was just a dinner.
"Sorry Mrs Reid." I gave her a small smile allowing her to continue, before my face was shoved to face up by the hand of my make up artist.

"Mother, I do not understand why I am being dressed as if I am meeting them for the first time." I groaned, pouting my lips as the command of the make up artist as she used a blusher to blush my cheeks.
"They are very high class sweetie, we do not want to look any less. Your their daughter in law, paparazzi would be there to take pictures of you." I sighed feeling like I was dipping my head in a cake, and holding the Statue of Liberty on my head.

"Right mother." I said, arguing with my mother was useless. It was a game where I would lose in the end and she would win, it was best to remain silence and play along.
"Done." The make up artist and hair stylist said in unison, I sighed in relief as I approached the full length mirror and stood astonished at how I looked. I looked incredible, mother had seriously spent her money on the correct people.

"She better look like a queen, I haven't paid both of you for nothing." I sighed snapping my eyes away from the mirror and too the phone, I grabbed it and gave the girls an apologetic look.
"Mother, I'll see you there." With that I ended the call, it was fifteen minutes till Ace was originally meant to arrive.

"We should get going, we hope everything goes well." I nodded my head and waving them goodbye as I dismissed them outside my house before shutting the door, being alone in the house i sudden felt nervous.

This would be the first time after being married to Ace going to my in laws house for dinner, we both avoided it as much as possible. Which made me question how they had made Ace agree to come this time.

Patiently waiting whilst sitting down, when the knock came. I stood up instantly, butterflies erupted in my stomach as I knew who stood behind the doors. Straightening the crease on my dress like I have done for thousand times, before approaching the door.

I took a deep breath, turning the door knob I pulled the door open. My eyes automatically began to trail down on how he was dressed, he looked incredibly hot in his three piece tuxedo. As my eyes returned to his face I realised he was doing exactly what I had been doing a second ago.

"Take a picture." I said getting his attention, he cleared his throat and straightened himself.
"I do need a picture, I can have you whenever I want." The certainty in his voice sent shivers down my spine, I bit my lower lips which caught his attention I watched as he licked his lips.

"We should get going." I whispered, ready to walk past him when I lost balance on my heels, only for his hands to wrap around my waist and pull me to his chest. My breast was pressed against him as I felt his breath fan on my face as I looked into his eyes, my palms were gripped on his shoulder as if life depended on it.

It was as if we were lost into each other's eyes, no one wanting to look away first. I felt him lean closer, I parted my lips. I jolted back when I heard his phone ring, he pulled away and answered his phone before walking away whilst I followed behind him.

"Let him know I'm ready to sign the documents when ever the house is ready." My ears perked, at the mention of a house. Was he buying a house? I silently followed him listening to his conversation until we approached his car, I frowned as I watched him approach the drivers door a little something inside of me hoped he would open the door for me.
