Tell the tales as old as the land. [ Childe x Zongli ]

You can't get anywhere without me.

    Zhongli walked down Liyues main street, past the funeral parlor, and up the steps to the book store. As Zhongli walked to sit down and drink tea to the guy who tells stories, he thought of Ajax. "Hmmm.." He said under his breath. As the guy continued to tell stories Zhongli listened, as the man began to talk about Rex Lapis's rule and contracts. Zhongli smiled and looked back up at the man. He looked over to see Ajax running down the street with the well-known traveler [Male].

    Ajax stopped and the traveler kept going then stopped as well. Ajax said something to the traveler and began to run up the stairs until he was out of my sight. The traveler was talking to paimon, then began to run off under the bridge then too out of my sight,(Off to see Xiao most likely.) Zhongli thought to himself. He looked down at his tea and began to drink again. As he listened to the man telling stories of Rex Lapis. 

    Before I left Ajax stopped me and asked if I wanted to go to dinner with him, I agreed. As the time ticked by it slowly began to become night, as Zhongli started down the stairs Ajax was sitting at the foot of the steps, he seemed focused on something so I patted him on the head and kept walking down he seemed to jolt back into reality. 

   Ajax jumped up and hugged Zhongli hugged him back, Zhongli began walking down to Xailings restaurant, Ajax slowly followed after him, "Xaisheng?" Ajax called, Zhongli swiftly turned around "Yes Ajax?" Zhongli replied as he stopped walking. "Nothing, just seeing if you would reply!" Ajax chuckled, so Zhongli turned back around and began to walk again. 

   When they arrived at the restaurant they both sat down. {Since I DONT remember the dishes. TIME SKIP!!!} 

    Zhongli yawned; Ajax looked up at Zhongli. "Xiasheng, would you like to stay with me for the night?" Zhongli's eyes shot towards Ajax, "Are you sure? I have the funeral parlor I'll be fine." Zhongli replied. "Oh no, It's fine I have room for two." Ajax smiled, "If you insist." Ajax paid of course. Zhongli and Ajax began to walk back to the bank where Ajax was living till he went back to Shezhnaya, Zhongli snuck in with Ajax as they both went up to Ajax's room, it was like an apartment, even for the size of the bank. 

   As Zhongli sat down on the couch that Ajax had. As Ajax went into the other room and changed into something formal, from his original outfit. "Do you want to change Xiasheng?" Ajax asked, Zhongli nodded, "Here!" Ajax handed him a pair of formal clothes, slacks, and a white button-up. Zhongli walked out and put on the outfit. "I guess we are sleeping together?" Ajax commented, Zhongli looked at Ajax, "I guess so." Zhongli answered.

    As they both laid down and slept opposite ways from each other. Ajax had woken up first, Ajax looked through his clothes to find the right outfit to go travel in. Zhongli woke up a few minutes later. Since Ajax was still looking for an outfit, Zhongli recommended, "How about we match? Black and white button-ups. Same pants." Ajax agreed we both put on our outfits. Zhongli put his hair into a ponytail, Ajax moved his hair and put his mask on the loop of his pants. 

    As Zhongli and Ajax walked out of the bank together, Zhongli noticed that Ajax was blushing. Zhongli chuckled, "What so funny-?" Ajax asked as they walked out of the bank. "Nothing, I was laughing at my own thoughts." As they walked side by side, they walked down to the bulletin board and Zhongli and Ajax waved goodbye for the day as they parted ways. 

   Ajax was off to fight and brawl with the traveler and Zhongli was off to work at the funeral parlor and wait for Hu Tao to come back, with a report or maybe even a ghost. As Ajax fought with the traveler, Xiao had decided to join Zhongli while he was on his downtime, "You're dating the traveler, aren't you?" Zhongli asked. Xiao nodded, "Yes I am, and you're dating that fatui member aren't you..?" Xiao commented. Zhongli jolted at that. "No, I'm not, where'd you hear that?" Zhongli looked shocked." I heard Ganyu and the traveler say something about it." Xiao looked around for Hu Tao in case she was there to scare Xiao. "Well, they're wrong I'm not dating anyone." Zhongli sounded kind of down. "The only person I was fond of was Madam Ping, and you know, she's older now, and the grandma of the half adepti, Yanfei is it?" Zhongli questioned. "Hu Tao's girlfriend? The lawyer?" Xiao commented."Mhm, I didn't know Hu Tao was dating Yanfei." Zhongli said. "They have similar talents or good talents," Xiao commented. 

Maybe I am in love with him... Zhongli thought.
