Tell the tales as old as the land. [ Childe x Zongli ]

Maybe just once.

Zhongli looked at Xiao, "So Hu Tao is with Yanfei, how does Yanfei deal with that?" Zhongli commented. "Yep, I don't know, they're always in a rush though," Xiao commented. Zhongli looked away, "So how are you and the traveler?" Zhongli asked. "We're okay." Xiao replied,"He never calls for me when he's in danger, which gets on my nerves." Xiao seemed agatated. "You know he's sparing with Ajax while we speak." Zhongli commented, "Hes.What.." Xiao looked up,"He's sparing with childe?" Zhongli repeated, Xiao suddenly dissapered Zhongli jolted back,"Sheesh that kid can't stand still."  Zhongli chuckled. 

Ajax took blows at the traveler. "Agh!" The traveler exclaimed. "Haha don't let down your gaurd comrade." Xiao jumped infront of Aether."God dammit Aether!" Ajax jolted back suddennly Aether and Xiao dissapered. "Ugh there goes Xiao being 'The Hero'." Ajax put away his swords and walked out of the golden house. I guess I'll go see xeisheng Ajax thought to himself. Ajax walked back to Liyue Harbor, Xianling was serving tables while Beidou began to walk into the port, Ajax walked to the funeral parlor where Xiao and Aether were satying with Zhongli. "Sheesh, I didn't know you were that protective Xiao." Ajax commented, Xiao gave Ajax a death stare. 

Ajax walked over to Zhongli and leaned on him. "I didn't leave to many scratches." Childe commented. Zhongli looked at Ajax, Xiao took Aether and walked out of the funeral parlor."There they go again," Zhongli Commented, "Yep!" Ajax chuckled. It was silent for a momment. "Can I ask you something Ajax?" Zhongli Asked, "Yes, anything!" Ajax exclaimed, "Have you heard the rumor?" Zhongli commented,"No, about who or what?" Ajax asked confused,"You and me." Zhongli Added,"Uh, no I don't think so?" Ajax said, Zhongli shighed,"You and me dating?" Zhongli replied, Ajax blushed, "Oh, uhhmmm, that's weird!" Ajax pulled away.

Zhongli chuckled. "It's not that bad, Xiao told me." Zhongli reasured Ajax, Ganyu walked in with Keqing."Oh! Mr.Zhongli! Hello sir!" Ganyu said, Keqing looked at Ajax and snarled. "Hello sir.." Keqing added, "Am I needed or something you two?"  They nodded, "Lady Ninguang requests you at the jade chamber!" Ganyu said, "You too Childe." Keqing added. 

Ajax jolted, "Me-- I was the reason the last jade chamber broke." Ajax added, Keqing reasured him,"You two better hurry!" They both nodded and walk out. Ganyu and Keqing giggled and followed them holding hands. "It's been forever since I've walked around Liyue!" Ganyu said happily, "Same here!" Keqing replied, Zhongli and Ajax ignored them.

"Why was I invited?" Ajax asked, "Lady Ninguang, said something like you have to help with something, and Zhongli she has a contract for you." Keqing said, Zhongli jolted, "Contract? Ah yes." Zhongli agreed. Ganyu and Keqing looked at eachother and pushed them into the elavator thing. "See you two~." Ganyu and Keqing said in sync. Zhongli looked at Ajax, "Those kids," Zhongli facepalmed, "They just set us up." Zhongli added, Ajax turned to Zhongli "What do you mean?" Ajax sounded confused, "This is was Hu Taos plan, you and me, invited to the Jade Chamber at the same time? Never." Zhongli sounded agated. "Plus Beidous in town, she's deffintly not avilable." Added Zhongli, Ajax blushed at that.

They waited on the Jade Chamber steps for the elvator to come back, when it came back they jumped on it and started going sperate ways when they got to the ground. Then Zhongli stopped Ajax, "I have an actual question Ajax." Said Zhongli, Ajax looked at Zhongli,"About what?" Ajax asked, Zhongli hesitated, "We should go out some time." Zhongli said "A date, you and me." Zhongli added, Ajax blushed."Oh okay! What time?" He stumbled over his words. "Tommorow, 8AM to 16PM?" Zhongli asked, "Yes! I can do that!" Ajax seemed eager. 

"Good to hear, see you then Ajax." Zhongli smiled and walked away leaving Ajax alone. Keqing looked down, "See you've gotten yourself a date, how do you think Xiao will act?" She asked. Ajax looked up " Pissed probably." Ajax chuckled and waved Keqing goodbye and went back to the bank and went to sleep.
