Skid woke up in a dark, flat area. He tried to feel his surroundings, in which there were none. He could only see himself in this odd new place.

Slowly, he started walking. The ground made creaking noises everywhere he stepped. He looked down, but even the floor was pitch black.

"Hello, Skid..." a voice reminiscent of his mom's suddenly said, startling him. He looked in the direction of the source of the voice, but nobody was there.

"M-mom...?" Skid nervously asked.

"Yes...?" the voice responded. "Are you, perhaps... thinking of something?"

Skid couldn't come up with a response, aside from shaking his head.

The dark area slowly started to brighten a little, revealing the floor was just hardwood. The atmosphere, however, still remained black.

But when he looked forward again, in front of him stood a door that looked exactly like the one that lead to his old bedroom.

Skid jumped back a little, puzzled over how it got there.

"Enter," the voice spoke to him.

Skid backed away a little bit, being very hesitant about the offer... which ended up being an enforcement when he felt a strong gust of air push him against the door.

Eventually, he had no other choice but to open it after the room started to shrink, preparing to crush him. He tugged on the door, but it wouldn't open, even though the knob turned all the way. He pushed against the door after, and it slowly but surely started opening. It felt a lot heavier than normal too.

The room shrunk even faster, and Skid could barely fit through the door. He tried to squeeze in, but he needed to get it open further. Pushing with all his might, he finally managed to get in, and when the door loudly slammed shut behind him...

He was greeted by his mother.

She looked the same as usual, with her long purple hair and formal attire.

But her smile... it had blood stains dripping down her chin. And her eyes and head were locked on Skid, no matter which way he went. It scared him.

But what scared him even more was seeing Pump and Susie, dead on the ground. They had knives stuck in their bodies, and the blood had dried.

This was exactly how his mom perished.

Skid could only watch in horror as his mom turned towards the dead bodies of his new siblings and walked up to them.

"This... is you new family, I assume?" she asked her son.

"B-but mom..." Skid stammered. "I'm still your son... right?"

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!" his mom shouted, her smile turning into a furious scowl. She charged at her son.

"M-mom?!" Skid was panicking. He tried to run to the door, but it was gone. It had disappeared without him looking.

"YOU ARE STAYING IN HERE, YOUNG MAN," Skid's mom snapped, grabbing her son and holding him against the wall.

"Mom, I don't understand what's going on!" Skid panicked, his eyes locked right on his mother's. She threw him down forcefully in the middle of the room.

"YOU NEVER UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!!!" his mom screamed in his face. "You are a disappointment to me! I worked so hard to raise you, and when I was about to die for god knows how many times, your ass stayed up in your room and did nothing to save me!!!"

"NO, MOM, THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!" Skid cried. "I STILL LOVE YOU VERY MUCH, AND I ALWAYS WILL!!!"

She suddenly disappeared in a glitchy manner, and in her place was Susie, and she said in a menacing tone, "Then why are you in OUR OWN DAMN FAMILY?!"

Skid's panic attack rose higher. "S-S-SUSIE, NO NO NO, LISTEN TO ME, I JUST-"

Then Susie glitched to let Pump replace her, and he shouted, "YOU DON'T BELONG HERE!!!!!"

Skid fell to the ground, covering his ears and sobbing loudly.

After his mom glitched back, she summoned Susie and Pump, all 3 of them yelling threats at Skid and spinning around him, hitting him on occasion.

"YOU'RE A BURDEN!!!"

"YOU'RE A CURSE!!!"

"YOU'RE A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!"

"YOU'RE A MISTAKE!!!"

"WHY WERE YOU BORN?!"

"YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HERE!!!"

"YOU CAN GO DIE IN A HOLE!!!"

"NO WONDER YOU'RE A HORRIBLE PERSON!!!"

"WE HATE YOU!!!!!!"

Skid jolted up and screamed.

He looked around, sweating.

He was in the hotel again, the same room as before; room 322. It seemed to be morning, as the sun was shining through the windows.

Pump and Susie suddenly barged into the room, being incredibly worried sick about their middle sibling, who hid under the covers and cried.

"Skid?! Skid, are you okay?!" Pump shouted.

Skid trembled under the covers, curled up in a ball. He started crying more when Pump tried to lift the blankets up.

"Skid..." Susie said, rubbing Skid's head covered by the blankets. "Shhh... shhhhhh... it's okay... it was probably just a bad dream... it wasn't real..."

Pump stuck his hand under the covers, and Skid squeezed it tightly but gently like a stress ball.

"Yeah Skid, it was just a dream," Pump told Skid. "Everything's gonna be alright, big bro."

Breathing heavily, the middle child slowly came out of the covers and hugged his two siblings, tears streaming down his face.

After a little while, Susie told Skid that she and Pump were making breakfast in the café. This made Skid feel a little better, but deep down, he still had a nervous feeling that this was how his mom actually felt about him, as if this was the prescence she always wanted to show to him.
