Chapter 10: They Returned

At another hospital, Susie was in a bathroom, using a pair of tweezers to try and extract the shard. It hurt, very badly. She pulled slowly, but the shard was still stuck in there.

Placing a hand over her eye and allowing the shard to poke between her fingers, she kept pulling at the shard...

Until something snapped.

Susie screamed in pain, dropping the tweezers and falling on all 4's, as her eyeball started vibrating in its socket.

Skid and Pump were alerted of her screaming, and ran into the bathroom to save her.

There she was, laying on the floor, with her shard-stabbed eye twitching immensely.

"SUSIE!" Skid and Pump cried as they ran towards their sister.

"Guys, don't come any closer!" Susie begged to them. "I don't- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!"

Her eye suddenly rolled back further inside her. Not like a typical eyeroll, but rather like a boulder rolling down a mountain.

And then... out of her socket crawled one of the eye muscles, in the somewhat-vague shape of a spider's leg.

Skid and Pump screamed and jumped back, hugging each other out of fear.

The legs crawled out to reveal they belonged to a small spider-like parasite... and Susie's eye was its abdomen.

Pump retched to the point of vomiting as Susie got up and squished the parasite to death with a first-aid kit.

"Ow... ow... oh my god..." Susie cried, covering her bleeding eye socket. "S-Skid, Pump... you might not wanna see this..."

About 5 minutes later, Skid and Pump were allowed in the room again. There stood Susie, but she had stitched her eye shut.

"It doesn't hurt anymore," Susie said, weakly. "It's fine now."

But just then, a familiar-looking pointy foot burst through the window, spreading shards all over. Fortunately, nobody went blind, as the three kids ran out of the room.

The leg belonged to Robert, who came back with the rest of the Hatzgang... but now they were all fused grotesquely into one monstrosity of a member.

Robert's pointy legs, in which there were 6 of them, formed the way this horrifying mutant got around on any surface. Walls, ceilings, you name it.

Ross's head-mouth had formed more copies of it on the chest, turning it into a trypophobia nightmare. Bloodshot eyes were also added to the cluster of holes, with some melded along with the eyes.

Roy's lumpy, stocky body was what the mouths, eyes and legs stayed on, and it was covered with several cuts, cysts and blisters. A large, bulky arm-like appendage with even more lumps portruded out of the left side of the body, but the hand attached at the end appeared to have a thumb on both sides, likely to make sure the prey made no attempts to escape.

All 3 of their heads rested atop the bulbous body, but Ross and Robert's heads appeared to be conjoined to either side of Roy's head.

"HEY, IT'S THE LITTLE PUMPKIN KID I NEVER GOT TO MUNCH ON!" Ross's head growled.

"And there's the asshole of a skeleton who escaped with the pumpkin!!!" sneered Robert. "I KNEW it would be easy to find you!"

"OH... but would you look at THAT?" Roy beamed in a demonic tone. "IT'S THE PUMPKIN PRICK'S BIG SISTER! How cute, she's gonna die with them!!!"

"Actually, I'm the big sister of BOTH of them now," Susie snapped, grabbing a scalpel.

"WHAT?!" all 3 Hatzgang members gawked in surprise.

Skid pulled out his crowbar, and Pump grabbed a syringe.

"Three on three, eh?!" Ross shouted. "Three kids... versus the HATZMALGAMATION!!!"

The Hatzmalgamation charged at Susie, who swiped the scalpel across Ross's face, causing him to scream. But she was pinned down immediately after by Roy's bulky arm.

Skid impaled Roy's arm with the crowbar, temporarily freeing Susie before Robert surrounded her with his pointy legs like a cage.

Pump then leaped up and stabbed Robert with the syringe... but nothing happened.

Turns out he accidentally injected the Hatzmalgamation with vitamin supplements.

As the bullies' heads laughed at Pump, Roy grew a second arm, and both arms grabbed Skid and Pump respectively and threw them in the leg cage with Susie.

The creature then dropped down to try and crush them to death... but Roy had a nasty idea. All the mouths mutated down below the body into one, and started to absorb Susie.

Skid and Pump tried to pull her out, but they ended up being absorbed in there too. It was a pretty tight squeeze in there, and as much as it was disgusting, it was air-tight, forcing all 3 to hold their breaths. And it was surprisingly... wet. And squishy.

They were in a massive cyst.

Susie tried to cut an incision into the fleshy walls to get some air, but immediately after that, it sealed itself shut again.

As they climbed up a little further, Skid passed out from a lack of air and almost fell in the water. Susie caught him and hoisted him on her back.

Susie eventually stuck her hand through a nodule in the Hatzmalgamation's skin, and slowly pushed a hole open. Once it was big enough for her nub to fit through, she struggled against the hole's attempts to close again, but Pump, being the other only conscious one, backed her up.

When the opening was big enough, though, it burst open, causing the kids to go flying out of the body and out the broken window, covered in pus, blood, sebum and bits of the dermal layer.

The Hatzmalgamation screeched loudly, and fell down dead as the acne contents within it sprayed out like a fountain.

Its whole body was a giant cyst.

Skid, Pump and Susie landed right on one of the blobs of sebum, coughing, gagging and retching.

"Ugh... everyone alright?" asked Susie.

"Kinda..." Pump groaned. He slowly stood up. "What about you, Skid...?"

Skid took short, choppy breaths, but he managed to wake up from unconsciousness. He didn't look too good, though, as he wasn't saying anything.

Susie picked Skid up and as the 3 of them hopped off the sebum piece, they looked back at the remains of the Hatzmalgamation one last time.

Hopefully this was the last time they'd see these brutal bullies.
