After hours of waiting for Cara, we got worried. We'd watched 5 episodes of The Vampire Diaries and I had left multiple messages on her phone.

"Lauren, you should sleep. I'll wait up" Looking over to Lauren, her eyes were dropping and I know it isn't healthy for her to stay up when she is just recovering.

"No, have you tried calling her again?" Determined to stay up, she asked every possible question. Ever. Jokes, obviously.

"I've called her 12 times" As I looked at my phone for the billionth time tonight, I desperately hoped a message would pop up from Cara.

"Try again" Me and Lauren had ran out of ideas. I'd leave it another hour before looking for her, she could have slept at Johnson's.

Voicemail. Amazing.

A click emerged from the door and both our heads shot to the side. Tip-toeing, Cara popped her head around the door and walked in.

"Well good morning" Folding my arms over my chest, I stood there staring at her, expressionless.

"Where the f*ck have you been?" Lauren shouted to Cara, jumping up from the couch and walking to over to the door.

"I told you I was going to be late" She scrunched up her face and threw her bags down.

"Late was 3 hours ago, it's 1am" Looking over to the clock, it has just slid past 1 o'clock.

"I got distracted" Cara winced as if she knew it was a bad excuse and was scared of the awaiting answer.

"I rang and I text you" I could have been a lot harsher, but I decided to give her a break since it was a date.

"My phone died" Holding her phone into the air, she strolled through to her bedroom so she could put it on charge.

"We were so worried" Lauren followed her in and clenched her jaw.

"Alright, I'm sorry" Cara held her hands up in defence, feeling a little guilty.

"We were going to go to Gilinsky's but we will do that tomorrow" Changing the subject, I guess we'd have to rearrange.

"Okay, why?" Sitting down softly on her blue duvet, confused.

"Because Lauren wants revenge" As I looked over to her, she was sat smugly on the couch, ready for bed.

"Oh god" She put her head in her palms, relaxing and laughing.

"Yeah I know" I almost whispered and drifted my eyes to the floor.

"So, do you like him?" Lauren asked excitedly and ran over to Cara.

"Yes" She replied in an embarrassed tone whilst looking down.

"Did anything happen?" Raising my eyebrows, a grin spread across my entire face.

"We held hands but that's it" Shrugging, she seemed a little disappointed but it was only their first date.

"But it was successful, right?" Lauren questioned eagerly.

"Very" Cara couldn't stop smiling so I could tell that she really enjoyed herself.

"Good" Hugging her, we all said goodnight and parted, me and Lauren headed off to our own bedrooms.

*Next morning*

"I'm going to Johnson's, do you want to come?" Cara muffled through her toothbrush.

"Yes but we'll stay away from you two, don't worry" Lauren nudged her side and walked away.

"Okay, come on" She rushed to get ready and then grabbed my wrist, pulling me out the door.
