*Dani's POV*

It's been three days since my Grandad died and I haven't left my apartment since then. I have several missed calls off my Mum, Dad and other family members. They know I'll come around but I just don't like being with people when I'm like this. Obviously, Cara and Lauren know since I live with them but I've sworn them to secrecy as I don't want people to take pity on me. Also, we seriously needed to find Nate as time was running out. Today, I decided that I'd finally see the group again even though they thought nothing had happened. So I called Sam.

*Sam's POV*

There was no blood in my veins; the blood was replaced with anger. Ever heard of making someone's blood boil? Well mine had completely evaporated.
How he had the guts to almost kill my girlfriend was unbelievable. Just wait until I get my hands around his neck.

Anyway, I'm heading over to Gee's today, just to watch a movie or something (I know what you're thinking, Netflix and Chill, right? But nah, she's still a little fragile) and then she's dragging me out shopping for a new dress - she gets one every week. We'll probably end up meeting up with everyone else too because I'm not good at helping her shop so she'll need her friends and I'll need mine, to stop me from dying of boredom.

Letting myself in to Georgia's apartment, I shouted to symbolise that I had entered before slouching down on the black, leather sofa.

"Thanks for knocking Sam - could have been naked" Holly briefly brushed past my head on the sofa and walked into the kitchen.

"In front of the door? And don't pretend you wouldn't love that" Raising my eyebrows at Holly, I smirked to myself in cockiness.

"Maybe I could have just got out the shower and was walking to Georgia's room to find my hair dryer" Pretending to fall asleep at her boring story, I closed my eyes.

"So you girls like being naked together?" Until I perked up just to annoy her, damn these girls were easy to get at.

"Sam, you're such a typical boy, what is wrong with you?" Tutting and shaking her head, she clearly did not understand how we work.

"Girlfriend here" Georgia introduced herself loud and obvious so me and Holly would stop our increasingly awkward conversation.

"Oh hey you. Speaking of girls, where's that boyfriend of yours, Holly, I need to speak to him?" Greeting her with a quick smile, I patted the seat next to me for Gee to sit but directed my words at Holly.

"Don't worry, you don't have to hide that you're going to f*cking kill him. I'll lead the way" Raising an eyebrow at me through the kitchen bar that opened out into the living room, Holly signaled her leading the way by swooping her arm out to the side.

"So you broke up? How did he take that?" Squinting and showing all my teeth (like a smile but not as sincere), I pretended to feel his pain even though he deserved that and more. I guess I had new plans for today.

"He tried to get run over" Acting like it was nothing, she shrugged until she burst out laughing. It was pretty crazy.

"What? Who does that? Surely he'd just shoot himself or something" Spitting my coke out everywhere, almost choking, I furrowed my eyebrows but I couldn't stop laughing.

"Exactly, that's what I said, he's stupid" Shaking her head, Holly finished off the sandwich she was making and headed into the living room.

"Sam, just don't get caught" Playing with my hair, Georgia pulled my head back softly so I could see her properly.
