*Lauren's POV*

"Shawn?" I breathed loudly as a face I never thought I would see again stood in front of me.

"Hey Laur" Smiling innocently, he gripped my arms and pulled me into a hug.

"What are you doing here?" Furrowing my eyebrows, I smiled lightly as I was confused to why he was back.

"I-I need your help" Looking around, he dragged me into the corner and placed his right hand on the wall next to my head.

"What've you done now?" Rolling my eyes, I folded my arms in curiosity as I wondered what other illegal crime he could have committed. Yes, what other.

"I'm serious Lauren, I'm in trouble" Bringing his body close to mine, he whispered in my ear.

"Well tell me what's up?" Looking directly in his eyes, I knew it was something bad. Shawn is never serious.

"Lauren?" Gilinsky appeared from around the corner and Shawn leaned away from me.

"Who's this, Lauren? Your new boyfriend?" Chuckling to himself, Shawn altered his black leather jacket and smirked.

"No way, I wouldn't be seen with her" Scoffing, Jack gave me a dirty look and pulled a face to Shawn.

"You've changed. You see, when you were with me, you wouldn't let anyone say anything like that to you. Why do you let him treat you like that?" Clenching his jaw, he put his arm around my neck and shook his head, almost as if he was disappointed.

"Mhm, good question. Yeah Shawn, maybe I should do something about it?" Laughing, I turned my face to Gilinsky and started to click my fingers in his face.

"You want me to sort him out?" Unhooking his arm from around my neck, he took a step towards Gilinsky and they were head to head.

"No, I don't need you as my body guard anymore but thanks" As I reached to pull his arm back, he stayed staring at him and it took a great deal of force to stop him. Honestly, I don't know why I split up with this guy. Maybe because he was always in trouble with the police.

"Don't let him treat you like that" Holding his motorbike helmet under one arm he crossed one leg over the other and leaned on the wall.

"Trust me, I have my ways of dealing with it" Smiling evilly, I reached up and ruffled Jack's hair. As I was pulling my hand down, he grabbed my wrist and his dark eyes met mine.

"Don't touch her" Shawn rose from his position and stood in between me and Gilinsky.

"Who even are you?" Gilinsky pushed him back a little. Nearly touching heads with each other, they both clenched fists and got ready to fight.

"Your biggest nightmare" Noticing me shaking me head as if to say 'no' and following my orders from before, Shawn sighed. Walking over to his navy and black motorbike, he sat on it and moved the handle, turning on the engine.

"Come on then" Reaching his hand out for me to take, I grabbed it and jumped behind him. Pulling the helmet over my head, I turned to Jack who was running his hands through his hair.

"See ya later" Smirking, Shawn drove off leaving Jack on his own. As I took a glance back, he was punching the wall before storming off.

The wind was slight so my hair was only blowing a little and it kept out my face. Considering I had been on this exact motorbike like 100 times, I was comfortable and felt safe.

"You never told me why you came" Shouting over his shoulder, it was pretty easy to communicate with him since he wasn't wearing his helmet.

"They're after me" Shawn laughed a little to maintain his badass reputation.
