Not wasting time Shen Yuan left. The spell casted on the building lost it's power. From hundreds of rooms only tens remained. Finally walking the right corridor he didn't open any door to search. Now that the smell of spiritual energy in the air disappeared well-ghost and Byakko certainly found an entrance already. The door near snapped open and a bunch of figures walked out. It weren't the ones he expected to see. The group wasn't huge only a few but all in expensive, flashy purple attires mixed with some gold. Traditional Western  Kingdom's colours weren't  usually met at Ju. It could cause one's head to fell to the ground.

,,Really what is this place ?''-he hid behind a pillar.

Footsteps and lively discussion could be heard in the whole building. They talked in rather ancient and polite version of their native language so they must be aristocracy.  He had trouble suppressing his  intention to kill.

-Wonderfull ! Truly wonderful !-the lady clapped her hands to express her awe better.-I would have never expected to find such a beauty in this kind of filthy place.

-My love, didn't I promise to take you to bid only for the real beauty ? Have I ever disappointed you ?-he lightly hugged her with one hand. Short and tiny woman with white skin nearly drowned in his embrace but didn't forget to giggle.

-Oh quit it ! How would I expect it to be this beautiful ? Especially that pure jade ! Ach it was so mesmerising !

The small talk died in the noise from many other as they happily went away, Shen Yuan's hand rested on his Ō-dachi. This was perfect. The king, princes and princess weren't important but the nobility was fatal. This sly theatre of politeness and good manners. Word ,,noble'' is their complete opposite. They only care for their status not bringing any good ! Those can't be any different. They were different from criminals only by their birth place protected them from the law. His eyes were burning with hatred, his breathing was rushed.

Just wait till they won't be able to see him them attack from behind. He would love to curse them first but don't want to risk. Dead souls if enough angered could stay here for eternity chasing after their killer. Was it worth it ?

The last roaming head tilted to the side unintentionally awaking disaster. Now. He leaped from the pillar and cut ! Another jump and cut. Spin. Cut. Slice. Like a well-known dance. Only after five heads rolled to the ground did his breathing stabilised and his cool expression retuned. This small thing made him so happy. One step closer to achieving his goal ! Lately there was no progress at all. Taking care of that god he was forced to quit his daily routine. It's not like he was thirsty for blood just he enjoyed the feeling when those monster's head hid the ground.

He quickly wiped the sword with a handkerchief. The disgust for monster's blood didn't allow him to leave his beloved sword soaked in it. He would feel guilty.

A pair of eyes followed his every move through the keyhole. Not aware of frightened stare he didn't even think about turning around not mentioning examining the hole. But the poor woman didn't know about it and her soul nearly left her body when she lost him and didn't hear footsteps. She covered her mouth with her hand and only after the time long enough to starve did she leave.

-Who would have thought...-she whispered quietly as her doby slide down the door. She didn't have strength to walk away or even slightly crack the door. She valued her life and wanted to return. Her son waited.

-The spell disappeared.-stated well-ghost.

-No more rooms !-Byakko was overjoyed and started jogging back the way they came but not hearing well-ghost he paused and tilted his head back. Those black eyes stared unblinking at the wall. As if... he was thinking of breaking it ?! The spirit was knocking on the wall focused. Was he for real ?
