41.

Sung Hyunjae was grinning while he was kissing the floor. "I'm sure the person you redirected the masses attention to is feeling their neck go cold."

"That white-masked bastard can fuck off," the Dokkaebi said crudely, huffing. "He's annoying."

"Ya, stop answerin' him."

"Chief-nim," they whined, "but I'm bored!"

Han Yoojin wanted to sigh. He really, honestly, truly wanted to release a deep-rooted sigh that sat in his lungs ever since he met the Dokkaebi. Alas, he was currently responsible for handling the situation here.

Namely, one Sung Hyunjae.

If only the Dokkaebi would stop sharing information, he could actually begin to interrogate the S-Class Hunter. Not that it seemed to work, trying to intimidate that guy.

Jokes on him, though. Han Yoojin couldn't be intimidated back, courtesy of Fear Resistance. Sung Hyunjae tried to, of course the guy did, but that backfired when Peace merely lashed out in a furious snarl, and Han Yoojin snorted.

"I wonder how you knew that he existed, though. Not a lot of people know that the red-haired young master and the 'white-masked bastard' share the same hair color," Sung Hyunjae commented with curled lips, but frigid eyes. "Trying to fool not even the public but even the underground.. Are you sowing discord?"

"Shut yar trap," he huffed in heavy Korean dialect.

The words sit heavy on his tongue, making him feel a tad awkward to imitate a gang member he knew pre-regression and whose appearance he had donned. However, he couldn't allow the Guild Leader to recognize him as Han Yoojin. The Disguise Shades concealed his appearance, but not body language or speech pattern.

Every clue could out him. The Dokkaebi being here was, to be honest, a big liability. No one could take on the less friendly side of interrogation, though, with Yoo Myeongwoo neither having the stats nor the equipment, and Peace wanting nothing more than to rip Sung Hyunjae to pieces.

Han Yoojin felt icky just having to admit that the Dokkaebi was the best choice, damn it.

"Aiya, Chief-ssi is so harsh," the guy drawled coyly. "Perhaps the red-haired person would be better equipped with.. handling me?"

Ugh, did he have to say it in such a suggestive tone? It was still him he was talking about! Even if Sung Hyunjae couldn't possibly know that. "Disgustin'."

"You're hurting my feelings."

Han Yoojin smirked. "Good." Every hit counted against the guy who spoke shit about his brother. Speaking of which, "Dokkaebi-ssi, leave."

"Eh? Chief-nim, you–"

"I'm gonna fill ya in later," he promised while staring at the other's gold-colored eyes. Amusement appeared to be overflowing, building up like a geyser just waiting to break out. "This guy.."
