Chapter fifty one...Coward

I looked at him and our eyes met instantly, he was staring right into my soul, there was something about him that brought peace to my soul I was about to smile at him when a saw his girlfriend's figure standing next to him. She was shooting daggers, spears, knives at me with her eyes if looks could kill I'll be decapitated and crippled right now.

There were six of them, Lizzy and her boyfriend, a blonde and a brunette female, and two dark-haired males, I looked away from them and took a bite out of my muffin.

"I said not to look."

"Sorry, I couldn't resist."

"Y'all should stop acting childish, what's the worst that could happen?" Lilith said, unbothered by their appearance. Something about the aura that surrounded them wasn't right, I could see fear in some people's eyes, what's it about them that got people frightened? Well....they are all very tall, physically fit, and are wearing all black, I mean who does that.

They took their seats and Martha instantly went to take their order, her head was lowered and she refused to meet their gaze, I stylishly stretched my ear to listen to their conversation.

"....filthy little....oh my you smell, what did you use to take a bath sewer water?" They all burst out into a fit of laughter as Lizzy said, how can she be so cruel?!! And the worst part is it's not even funny, she deprives joy of hurting and putting others down, that's crazy.

"Hey, why are you glaring at them?" Chad asked enjoying his meal.

"Why shouldn't I? They are cruel!! Who deprives joy of hurting others, that's sick!!" I said exasperated and irritated.

"Lower your voice," Ben said covering his face.

"What? It's not like they can hear me."

"We can." A brunette among them said turning back to me. My eyes widened and I looked away from them.

"Inhumane you say, sick you say." She had a dirty smirk on her face. I examined her face and she was damn gorgeous, but her personality was irritating.

"What are you thinking sweetheart?" I was about to give her a response when Sarah stopped me.

"Don't please, just ignore them."

"So uh, staying in different schools is frustrating." Mel tried to change the subject and we all went along with her.

"Yh, imagine if we all went to the same school-"

"The school would crumble to the ground, imagine five natural disasters gracing a school with their presence." The smile on my face fell and they all laughed at her words.

How dare she!!! Ignore her! Ignore her! "Don't mind them, they are irrelevant and barely significant, a bunch of assholes they are, who want attention by trying to cause a scene." I might have spoken a bit too loud.

"Did I hear you right?" This time it was Lizzy who spoke up.

"I will be right back." Lilith got up and so did Lizzy.

"Where are you going?" Sarah asked curiously.

"Restroom, I'm very pressed." She ran with her tail in between her legs.

"Coward." Ben snickered.

"I want you to repeat yourself cause I don't think I heard you right." She stood opposite me with her arms folded, I looked behind her and saw them all looking and watching the drama unfold with amusement in their eyes, which made my blood boil.

"Get out of my face." I spat angrily.

"Calm down, ignore her she's not worth it." Ben soothe but I wasn't having it.

"For a puny pathetic thing like you, you sure have lots of gut."

"And you have no heart." I gave her a dirty smirk. She walked over to me and pulled me up by my hair.

"I won't let you off this time."

"Let go of me." She was pulling my hair so hard, my scalp was burning. I was struggling against her but all my attempts to make her let go went down the drain.

"Stop!!" Chad punched her in the side and her gang got up and came to us instantly causing her to let go, she groaned in pain but soon recovered.

Her hand collided with the side of my face, the suddenness took me off guard, I hissed and held my face. I grabbed a fistful of her hair and yanked her head backward. I scratched her face and she twisted my arm, Chad kicked the back of her knee making her let go.

She launched at him but I pulled at her hair causing her to fall to the ground. Some people ran out of the cafe while others stayed and watched the scene. She launched at Chad again aiming for his head but he swerved in time, I wanted to help but I was unable to move.

I struggled but I couldn't, the more I struggled the harder it was to move, I stopped and relaxed my body, it's all in my head. Whatever was holding me back dissipated and I launched at her.

"I won't spare you." I landed on her back and scratched her neck, she groaned and threw me her back. I landed hard on one of the tables which came crumbling to the ground.

"Please stop this!! Don't destroy my cafe." My boss pleaded but his pleas went to deaf ears. She was attacking Chad while he was defending, why didn't he punch her into another dimension or even coma, he was just shielding and swerving.

I wanted to attack her but a huge figure stood in my way, he loomed over me threatening me, I refused to back down now, I walked towards him and glared at him.

"Get out of my way or you will meet the same fate as her." I threatened, he searched my eyes to see if I'd waver or was bluffing, he was out of my sight seconds after.

I launched at her and she punched me in the stomach, my milkshake and muffin came up my throat and on the floor, angrily I got up and kicked her in the back. I punched her several times in the face.
Someone pulled me off her and I struggled against them, her blonde friend helped her up but she pushed her away.

"That's enough." The blonde whispered to her

"Not even close." Lizzy was stubborn but I was more stubborn than her. She launched at me and my fist collided with her face as soon as her fist collided with my stomach again. I winced in pain but I ignored it, there was blood on her face which made me satisfied.

I'm not one you can fight with and not get at least a scratch, I'm sure I have more wounds and am more injured than her but I'm satisfied with the state I put her in.
She tried to attack me but her blonde friend held her back, a wise choice.

Lizzy's eyes wear blazing, I saw them turn from black to golden in an instant she let out an inhumane growl and her nails changed to claws and her friend pulled her away from us, she whispered something in her ear, and her eyes went back from golden to black again, she has shown me her true colors.

"Next time before you pick a fight with me or my friends you'll think twice." Sarah fell to the ground crying in pain, what happened to her? I rushed to her side to see what happened.

Someone scratched my arm painfully, Lizzy, she scratched me with her claws, and there was blood on them, I ignored the pain I was feeling and helped Sarah up, she threw a dirty smirk in my way before exiting the cafe with her gangs.

I felt something trickle down my arm, it was blood...
