"What do you think?" Tengen asks.

"The food is really good! This might be the best sushi I've ever had honestly." Kohaku says giggling.

"This place is like a hidden gem. I thought you would like it." Tengen says smiling.

Kohaku and Tengen's romance had been a whirlwind. It's been about two weeks since Tengen confessed to Kohaku that night under the lit up cherry blossoms. Sometimes she can't believe that the two of them are a couple now. It's been about two years since Kohaku's last relationship. It's also been a very different dynamic since Tamami is involved and Tengen being who he is. Tengen came right out and told Tamami that the two of them are now dating, which didn't bother Kohaku, but she worried if that would change how Tamami sees her or how she behaves in daycare. But since the relationship is still new and nothing had really changed, Tamami hasn't really paid much mind to it.

"Well thanks for taking me about again it's been nice." She says smiling.

"Of course, I'm sorry we can't spend more time together other than the weekends right now." He says.

"We're both busy, so it's fine. I understand." Kohaku says smiling.

Since that time, Kohaku and Tengen have only been going on dinner dates on the weekends. Kohaku knows how busy Tengen is, and she of course is busy at the daycare during the week. Last week, Tamami joined them for dinner but this weekend it was just the two of them. Tamami was hanging out with Riku allowing the two some rare alone time.

"I wanted to ask you." Tengen starts.

"Yeah?" Kohaku responds.

"Next Saturday, there's a dinner party for my company. I wanted to invite you to come with me as my flamboyant date." He says smirking.

Kohaku can't help but chuckle at her boyfriend's vocabulary.

"Oh? Sounds fun. I've never been to a dinner party before." She says.

"They can be. But I will warn you, it's a pretty formal and kinda uptight thing. Do you have something outfit wise that would work for that?" He asks.

Kohaku hadn't exactly told Tengen about her financial situation since they were still getting to know each other still. Not to mention she's embarrassed since money is something he never has to worry about, and something she always has to worry about it.

"I don't know if I have anything fancy enough for that..." Kohaku says looking down slightly.

"Don't worry, I happen to have impeccable taste! We can go find you something. Come on!" Tengen says quickly settling the check. The two dip out of the restaurant. Tengen never letting go of Kohaku's hand. Even now her heart skips a beat at his touch.

"W-wait where are we going exactly?" Kohaku says.

"We're gonna go find you something to wear for the party!" Tengen replies.

"Tengen, I can't afford anything in any of the shops in your neighborhood." Kohaku says.

"Who said you were paying?" Tengen says sticking his tongue out.

"Hey now, you can't be spending that much money on me!" Kohaku says with a pout.

"I'm your boyfriend and I can spoil you as much as I want." He says smirking.

Kohaku knew it was pointless to argue with him. Once he had his mind made up, he stuck to his guns.

Shortly after the two went into a shop and begin looking at dresses. Kohaku was blown away by all the beautiful dresses in every color and style, but she dares not look at the prices. She might lose her nerve knowing how much he's spending on her.
