[Chapter C/W: Hospitals, Strong language, Some Sexual Themes]

By this point, Kohaku had lost track of how many times, she'd tried to call Tengen with no answer. She was starting to think that she'd never get in touch with him. She even tried called Kyojuro, but had no luck reaching him either.

She could only think of how scared Tamami must be, back there alone. If she was even conscious. Was she ok? This was the thing that ate Kohaku up more than anything, it being unable to know the status of the precious silver haired girl.

Kohaku was paused from calling for a moment in her thoughts, when her phone started buzzing. In a panic she looks down and is both relieved and terrified.

Tengen was finally calling back.

Kohaku picks up the phone and Tengen is quick to speak.

"Kohaku? What's going on? I saw all the missed calls and heard the voice mail. I'm worried; did something happen?" He says panic in his voice.

She must have got ahold of him before the doctors did somehow. She didn't know how he was going to react to the news, but she knew she had to tell him the gravity of the situation.

"T-Tengen Tamami is in the hospital. I don't know what's going on or anything since I'm not her guardian or parent. I tried to explain, but they won't let me see her. She had some kind of allergic reaction while we were out and was struggling to breath. I-"

Kohaku didn't realize that she was half crying and blubbering through the phone at this point. Tengen cut her off.

"O-ok, calm down Kohaku. I understand. Stay there and I'll make some calls to get you in there. She can't be alone. I-I'll be on the first flight back and be there as soon as I can, but that will still take time." He says.

His voice appeared calm, but she could tell by his slight stuttering that he was freaking out as well.

"A-alright." Was all Kohaku could get out.

"Just hang on until I get there, ok?" He says before hanging up the phone.

Kohaku couldn't tell if she was relieved or more stressed now. Was he angry? He had every right to be. She only hoped that he would get there quickly. He'd know what to do. Right?

The hours ticked by and Kohaku at this point was pacing. Not hearing anything on Tamami for two hours had her mind doing dangerous loops. Was she ok? Was she fine? Was she dying? Did she die? She tired her best not to think about these things as they would just send her into another panic attack, but the lack of updates was suffocating.

"Miss Ameyama?" A nurse finally says.

Kohaku jumps at her voice.

"Yes!?" She says.

We just got confirmation, from Tamami's father. I'll be honest that's the quickest I ever seen this exception be made, but none the less we'll take you back to see Tamami now." She says.

Thank God.

Kohaku follows the nurse back quietly to a room where Tamami is laying in a bed sleep, IV inserted into her arm, and receiving oxygen as well.

"Is she ok?" Kohaku asks.

"She'll be just fine. She had a severe allergic reaction to the bee sting and had an anaphylactic attack. Luckily, she was brough here before she stopped breathing completely and we were able to give her some Epinephrine and albuterol to help her body calm down and return to normal. She should be good to go after a little more observation." The doctor says.
