Chapter Twenty3

I felt like I was being sufficated... I slowly opened my eyes. I was in my room, on my bed. Something was wrapped around the back of my neck and around my waist. I looked to my side, to see the familiar face of Hoodie. Or should I say Kallum? My back hurt everytime I took a breath.

" Silver?" Jack's familiar voice asked from the side of the bed.

I could feel the mattress dip down on my side, my body ached more witheach movement.

" It hurts...." I murmured tears starting to come to my eyes.

He moved closer to me, placing a gloved hand on my face to wipe a falling tear. He slowly shushed me as he pulled a needle out of his pocket. Someone knocked on the door before walking in. I looked to see who it was as Jack grabbed my arm. Fear spread threw me, Grinny was standing at the door. Regret covered his features. Jack must have noticed my nervousness, and turned to look at Grinny.

" Get out!" Jack spat at him anger radiating off of him.

He went to say something, but instead he just turned and left eyes hung low. Jack sighed and picked my arm up, pushing the needle into it. He pushed the liquid in, and instantly my body began to go numb. I sighed in relief, only to have Hoodie move us awkwardly. He mumbled incoherent things into my ear, as he dreamed.

" What happened after?" I asked slowly as Jack laid back against mine and Hoodie's legs.

" We had to tie up Jay and Tim, considering they were thinking about dragging you to the hospital. We even had to knock them out. It got really hectic fast." He rubbed his hands under his mask, " Worst of all, you were bleeding really bad. Hoodie tried to put pressure on the wound, but it did nothing. Your heart..."

He stopped he sounded like he couldn't go on. My heart? Did I die or something? What happened while I was asleep.

" Everything stopped for you.... You stopped breathing, your heart stopped beating... We thought you were gone." Jack sat up, adn leaned over hands on his face, " God Hoodie acted so different. He held you as close as he could, for the first time I heard it... Then like magic. You spoke."
