Chapter Thirty5

Day Four

I awoke to Alex yelling yet again. I made no action to move from my hiding spot. The other day when I first went into hiding, that night after Alex left, Masky ordered that I just stay where I was at. No matter what I heard, or though was happening. Just stay safe in hiding where he put me.

" If you don't tell me where she is, so help me..." Alex growled glass shattering against the ground.

" How many times have we told you?" Jay yelled at his ex-best friend.

" Do you really think I'm going to believe that bullshit?" Alex asked angrily.

I could hear him hitting on Jay and Masky. I wanted to help them so bad, but I'm not going to disobey what Masky said. I know it's like a suicide trip if I do. Alex wants my blood, because of the beating Hoodie gave him. I could hear Jay shouting in pain, something hitting the floor. I flinched slightly lucky he didn't hear.

I don't know how long passed before he finally left. I moved closer to the edge and looked out. Once more Masky and Jay were on the floor. I carefully crawled out of my hiding spot, and rushed over to them. Thankfully my leg was allowing me to walk on it, and move quickly. I had it tied tightly in that shirt.

" I am so sorry." I whispered to Masky, as I began to cut the ropes again.

" You shouldn't have come down." He shook his head.

" Why?" I asked then it hit me.

" He's going to notice that someone cut us free." Exactly...

" Fuck." I murmured stopping dead in my tracks.

" Just get out of here." He motioned his head to the window.

" I can't jump from this high." I frowned.

" You're going to have to-" The attic door was being pulled on.

Fuck, I quickly got up and ran for my hiding spot. I quickly jumped up and grabbed the edge weakly pulling myself up, right as Alex started walking up. Thankfully he didn't start walking this way.

" She's not here." Masky scoffed shit was he looking at where I was hiding?

" Then what's over there?" Alex asked footsteps coming over this way.

I quickly shuffled back into the shadows the best I could, putting a box in front of me. I could here Alex grabbing onto the ledge right where I hopped up. Shit shit shit! What do I do? I held my knife close to me, its all I have at this point.

The box in front of me was ripped away, Alex crouched there glaring at me. He lunged for me, but I quickly jumped away and over. I jumped to the small entrance and went to jump out, but he grabbed onto my foot pulling me back. In a panic I swung my knife back, catching onto his hip... I think. He let go of me, throwing me out of the hole. I groaned loudly as I hit the floor, something hit my leg directly. I rolled over just in time for Alex to try and jump on top of me. Ignoring the scream in my leg I ran for Masky and began to cut the rope the best I could. Alex did a round kick on me, knocking me to the floor. I held the knife tightly as I hit the floor, rolling onto my back. Alex stepped on my leg roughly making me scream in pain as he crouched down to my level.

" Nice to see you again." He snickered, he didn't live a long victory considering I still had my knife.

I stabbed it into his shoulder, my original target his head. He shouted in pain, punching me in the face. My head went to the side, as he tried to get a hold of my now flailing arms. I was squirming to the point of no return. Worse then when Hoodie was holding me down. I raised my knife again, stabbing it into his arm. He let go of me momentarily, I shot up quickly and darted for Masky. I got one of his hands free before Alex hit me once again. Masky took the knife from me as I fell once more. Alex grabbed my by my hair and started dragging me towards the attic door. I shouted as he tossed me out of it, and to the floor of the hallway. Black dots clouded my vision, as I hit my head. Everything spun in circles as I tried to get up with no such luck. I could hear yelling and shouting as everything went black.
