Yoongi woke up again in the middle of the night. He glanced at the clock, careful not to stir Y/n who currently rested in his arms, nestled close to his chest.
{3:48am}
He usually had no trouble falling asleep, let alone staying asleep. Yoongi was like a rock, able to drop anywhere to rest.

But tonight seemed different. The more he tried to relax the more his body screamed at him to get up and go.

Why? He was comfortable. The conversation he had with Y/n leaving him with a clearer head.

Yoongi glanced down at her, lips parted slightly as she slept. Eyebrows relaxed and a content smile on her face. She looked breathtaking.

"Y/n.. Y/n wake up.. come on.." he lightly shook her arm in order to wake her up. He had an idea.

She finally started to stir a little, reaching a hand up to rub her eyes.
This was the first time she had really felt content to cuddle one of her soulmates to sleep.

Y/n knew now that the first person she actually bonded with was Taehyung, but she couldn't help but associate Yoongi with the title.

He was like her grounding point, someone she felt she could lean on and just relax into.
"What? What's up?" She tiredly asked, moving out of the embrace and sitting up properly, taking a quick glance around the room.

"Get up.." was all that came from Yoongi. He moved first, grabbing a baggy sweater and some socks and quickly walking out of his bedroom, Y/n stealing one of his hoodies and quickly following.

He slipped on some shoes and gestured for her to do the same, taking her hand in his and grabbing his keys. Together they both headed out of the apartment.

"As much as I trust you and would probably follow you anywhere- what's going on?" Y/n finally questioned once they both made it to the car.

Yoongi sent her a quick smile, backing up the car before heading off onto a freeway, not even bothering to answer her question and instead playing some calming music through his Bluetooth.

"I couldn't sleep." He finally said after a few minutes of silence.
Y/n laughed a little, Yoongi? Not being able to sleep? She couldn't count the amount of times the others scolded him for falling asleep in some of his classes, or the amount of times he had causally 'rested' his eyes after classes when they waiting for Jin and Taehyung.

"Not that I don't believe you- but I'd never have guessed." Yoongi chucked.

The low tone sending butterflies through Y/n's chest as she turned her head to smile at him.

"Been a lot on my mind I guess." Yoongi took a deep breath. He hadn't planned to get too deep.

"Y'know I'm not upset that you didn't realize you bonded with Tae.." he started.

Y/n rose an eyebrow. "I thought of everyone, you would've been.."

He shook his head, stopping at a red light.
"I know I shouldn't be, but a part of me is happy you realized you bonded with me and- in a way I was like your starting point..."

Y/n smiled a bit, looking at the scenery through her window. The sky was clear, and although their was a lot of city light she could still make out a few stars.

"With the others.. it took awhile to bond.. and.. it was nice bonding so quickly.." Yoongi shook his head, embarrassed even if he wouldn't admit it out loud.

"I get it.. I just wish I was doing better with all of this.." Y/n didn't want to ramble, she was enjoying her time right now with Yoongi, and mentioning the way Jimin and Taehyung were acting towards her would just dampen the mood.

She wanted her full attention to be on the soulmate she was currently with, the one she no doubt felt the most comforted by the past day or so.

The two sat in silence for a little longer, listening to the music as Yoongi continued to drive. Y/n gave up trying to ask, since he only ever sent her a smile before ignoring the question.

Finally they pulled up to an area outside of the city limits, Yoongi parking the car on the side of the road in some wild flowers.

"This spot is beautiful..." Y/n mumbled, setting out of the car. Yoongi had backed into the field and was opening the truck.

"C'mere." He gestured for her, taking a seat in the van and pulling Y/n up beside him.

The scene reminded her of cheesy dramas she loved to watch, being wrapping tightly in a lovers embrace starring at stars in a field of flowers.

What could be more peaceful than this?

  Yoongi wrapped his arms wound her waist, pulling her in between his legs while he softly hummed, both engrossed in the comfort of eachother and the beauty of the nature around them.

"This is the nicest place anyone has ever taken me..." Y/n quietly mumbled, mostly to herself.

Yoongi held her hands in his. "I probably should've asked this before dragging you out of bed- but would you mind considering this out first date..."

"Aw~ are you getting soft on me?" Y/n twisted her body a bit to face him. Giving him a funny smirk while they gazed into each others eyes.

"Im not soft." Was all he responded.

The gaze lingered and before long the pairs eyes were flicking to each others lips.

"Can I .. kiss you?" Yoongi whispered, their faces growing so close that Y/n could feel his breath.
She nodded as he closed the distance.

The kiss was soft, Yoongi gently caressing her cheek as he deepened it. They could feel the bond fully forming between them and both basked in it.

The kiss felt electric, the care and support Y/n felt him send through the bond made her dizzy.
Trying her best, she sent back the same love she felt him give her and felt Yoongi gasp a bit. He quickly regained his composure and placed his lips back on hers.

A few minutes went by before they both broke away, resting their bodies together.
Yoongi smiled down at her, lifting her chin up with his fingers.

Both their minds were still hazy, but a good kind. "because I know this is all still new to you I'll be gentle for now.."

A smirk replaced his fond smile, and Y/n felt her heartbeat quicken. Unable to form any words, a deep blush settled across her skin and she buried her head into his chest, feeling a rumble of laughter come from him.

"C'mon baby. Let's get back home and sleep for a few more hours.. we have school soon and we actually have to show up." Y/n let out a small giggle, feeling giddy at the nickname as much as being held close to Yoongi.

"Actually unlike some people who fall asleep in class~ I could afford to miss a day or two.." Y/n teased, running away to sit back in the passenger seat.

Slowly Yoongi followed, hoping in the drivers seat and starting the car again.

"Mhm. But if I have to suffer though school today- so do you babe" he gripped her hand with his own, the other places firmly on the steering wheel while they made their way back to the apartments.

Both happy, and now finally able to rest.
