I'd luckily avoided the men who shared the apartment with me for the most part the following week; unfortunately I also knew we all shared the same floor and was informed that Jin owned the building. Hopefully I wouldn't piss him off enough to get kicked out.
Yoongi, Jimin, and Jungkook all also seemed to avoid me, if we happened to be in the elevator at the same time they would pretend not to notice me which made it a lot easier on my end. We didn't really talk and the most I'd gotten out of them was Yoongi who laughed at me slightly when I'd tripped into the elevator once. I'd been in a rush and my clumsy ass almost landed on the ground because of it.
Jin and Namjoon would wave and try to start conversations but I'd managed to weasel out of them pretty quickly, I wasn't opposed to being their friend, it was just hard to speak Korean so often and quickly with them. I'd tried my best to be respectful but they'd slowly began only saying slow greetings throughout the week. I'd figured I probably offended them accidentally but didn't have the words to explain why I didn't want to talk so much.
Hoseok was awkward to be around but he didn't try to start conversations so it didn't bother me. We'd only run into each-other twice since our last conversation and each time he was the first to leave, and he'd do so relatively quickly.
Taehyung on the other hand was the most exhausting. Anytime he saw me he would snake his arm around my shoulders and walk with me, talking about whatever topic interested him that day. He never seemed to care that I didn't reply but he also didn't care that I was blatantly trying to ignore him.

Unfortunately fate decided to be a dick to me today and I was soaked with rain while my shoes were a muddied mess. It was sunshine when I left the apartment and thirty minutes later when I made my way back it was storming. I'd wanted to pick up some last minute supplies for school in the next few days, which I managed, but now I looked like a wet rat walking back into the elevator.
And if fate wasn't cruel and enough, all seven men were already standing inside waiting to go up. Why did they even have an elevator this big in such a small building??
"Fucking kidding me" I mumbled out in English as I walked into the elevator ignoring the abrupt silence as all their eyes fell on me. Could today get worse? Yes.
My paper bag, soaked through decided as the elevator doors closed to rip and spill out all the contents. A case of coloured pencils and fine liners fell out along with a few erasers and a bag of chips.
"Of course, why not? Not like today wasn't bad enough already might as well add icing to the fucking cake.peachy." I spoke out loud in English ranting to myself more as I bent over to pick up the supplies, and earning confused looks from the men in the elevator. I continued for a few minutes ranting to myself, I didn't pay them any mind.
Namjoon bent down to help as he handed them to me. "Thank you" i spoke back in Korean as I bowed before sighing to myself.

Jin looked me up and down slowly as Namjoon stood back up to his side. "Are you alright?" I glared at him slightly rolling my eyes. "Do I look alright?" I gestured to myself. "I look like I just got hit by a bus. No I'm not alright thanks for asking." I grumbled out.
I knew it wasn't his fault today had sucked so much but I didn't have any patience left. I just wanted to eat and sleep. I stomped my foot as I let out a mini tantrum in my head.
"Aish- I'm sorry. Today has just been a mess." I bowed toward him as the doors opened and slowly walked to my dorm, only to be met with my mother standing infront of it.

"Does fate love to torture me that much??" I said in Korean as all of us stepped out into the hall. I switched to English as my mother noticed me.
"What are you doing here? How did you even find out where I lived?"
I could still feel the stares of the boys behind me, why were they still here?.
"You're supposed to be studying not partying." She gestured to them behind me. "They live here. We're not friends." I said flatly walking infront of my door.
"Please leave or I'm calling security." I said.
My mother started with her sob story act like usual.
"I'm your mother I just wanted to check in on you and look at you, with seven men looking like a mess! What would your soulmate think?" I rolled my eyes.
"Soulmates." I corrected. "I dunno I'll ask when I meet them." I moved to grab my keys. "Please leave."
She stood her ground and began picking out all my flaws. "You know having more than one soulmate is selfish and wrong why not just meet them and pick the best fitting hm? You should be grateful to me being here and wanting to speak to you still with all those foolish ideas in your head."
She kept on ranting as I banged my head- literally- against my door waiting for her to stop. I felt like I was living in a comedy filled drama, and I was ready to exit scene as soon as possible.
