Izuru stared at the lifeless body in front of him, feeling water drip down his cheeks just like when he watched Chiaki die. Hajime's feelings were getting to him again.

The lifeless body was someone who Izuru didn't think much about and wouldn't expect emotions to trigger when seeing his dead body lying in front of him. As you've probably guessed, the dead body was belonging to Nagito Komaeda, sometimes known as servant.

Izuru already guessed Nagito would do something that would effect himself but he didn't exactly think he was gonna sacrifice himself for hope. He was obsessed with hope to the point it bored many, including Izuru.

So why did he feel slight emotions when he saw that Nagito was no longer alive? I suppose you could call it karma for picking despair out of boredom.
