senna was last to wake up and she didn't even know the rest of the gaang was waiting for her. sokka had told them that something was up with her last night and began to come up with a bunch of stupid scenarios that could've happened.
"she probably got rejected! that's it!" he shouted, angrily, "katara, ask her who this guy was, i need to have a chat with him."
the girl rolled her eyes and it all went quiet when they heard footsteps from down the hall and toward the living room. their stood senna who was all dressed up in water tribe clothing.
"goodmorning, sleepy head." katara laughed as the girl walked into the living room and sat down.
"hey, how was last night?"
katara started talking, "well they wouldn't let toph and i go in the party because we didn't have invitations, so we asked a guy named long feng to let us in.."
senna shifted uncomfortably at the sound of that mans name and all the memories of last night coming back into her mind. sokka noticed this while the others didn't.
"......then we spotted aang and sokka passing as busboys!"
"i crashed the party." aang continued, "because i spilled some food on a lady's dress and when i airbended it away she realized i was the avatar so she screamed it and then i had to improvise so i did some airbending tricks and then the earth king showed up!"
sokka then added to the story, "but he left and we were kidnapped by the dai li, and long feng is their leader! and he didn't want to hear our plan!"
toph finished it, "he said the king didn't meddle in "political squabbles" and the king is just a puppet! and when aang threatened to tell anyone about the war, long feng said that if we did, we'd be expelled from the city! and then joo dee showed up and brought us back!"
"but it wasn't joo dee." katara said, confusing senna a lot, "her name was joo dee, and she acted like joo dee but she was a different person."
"fun." senna sighed, tapping her fingers against the floor. sokka saw and he remembered she did that last night when she opened her door.
he then looked around and spotted the flowers, "it looks like someone had a good date, huh?" he spat.
"ooh, which reminds me!" katara exclaimed, grabbing toph and senna by the arms and pulling them into her room, closing the door, "girl time!"
