It was going to be another day cramped in a cart.
I wasn't going to be able to help Wren.
     Unless I did something.
I had a plan, it just wasn't a very good one. I knew Shiva could easily tear me apart limb from limb, but only if she wanted to. It seemed like she just needed blood to survive, and would get a bit carried away while taking it. We had a life here, that could easily be sacrificed.
Charli sat on the other end of the cart, perched on the uncomfortable metal seat, making noises at her bird friend. The noises seemed to be coming from both sides, and I could decipher it slightly.
"Are you going to do it?" The bird clicked, chirping into her ear.
"I'm not an idiot." She argued, mimicking the brash noises. They both looked at me sheepishly, then began clicking in a new way, that I couldn't understand, using their tongues to flash up against the roof of their mouth.
"I have an idea." I monotoned flatly. They both looked to me, halting there own conversation.
"Sacrifice the bird, While The beast is busy with a snack, we make a run for it into those trees." I explained, carful to lower my voice so I wouldn't be heard.
"Nobody's sacrificing Percy." She argued. Percy leaned in with bulging eyes to look at me, feathers blowing in the moderate wind.
"Kill the Cat." He mocked, serious aura going away. I crossed my arms and tail, leaning up against the side of the cart.
"Well if you have a better Idea, i'd be happy to hear it." I sniffed, closing my eyes in an attempt regain some of my my poor nights sleep.
"We have a better idea," she whispered, I opened one eye. She was walking closer to me with a sly grin. "It just doesn't involve you." She remarked. I felt my head slam against the cart, rendering me unconscious.
