A Stupid Wish (Hazel's life in Hydra)

What a pleasant surprise!

"I am leaving" Hazel said.

"I am not done talking" Rumlow said.

"Well, I am done listening! Go to your house and let me go to mine. It's 11:30 pm, I am bloody tired"

"You will have to report tomorrow morning at 7, we have a mission, stealing the staff-"

"Do you even sleep? Do you even get tired? Rest is what you need, Brock"

"Brock?" he raised a brow.

"What? You can call me Hazel, I don't like to be formal" she held up her hands.

"You are just impossible" Rumlow said as he went to his car.

"Bye, BrOcK!" Hazel teased him and started her car.

Rumlow started his car but it didn't started "Oh, come on!" he sighed.

"So, want me to help ya" Hazel sassed "or you wanna spend your night here"

"Help me, Edwards" he gave up.

"Aa a! You forgot the magic word!" Hazel said.

"Help me, Hazel, please!" Rumlow said, Hazel felt some weird feeling when he said her name, she straighten herself and cleared her throat.

"Get in, loser! We are dropping you to your house"

"Pull over" Rumlow said.

"You live here, in this alley?" Hazel asked.

"No but if the guards saw you then a lot of chaos is going to happen" he said as he got out of the car.

"Hmm, you live alone?" 

"Y-Yes" 

"You stuttered"

"I didn't" he defended himself "You need some sleep" Hazel saw him entering a building.

"Maybe, I do need some sleep" she left the car and followed him as a shadow (No pun intended) "after I find out what are you hiding"

Hazel followed him to his house, he unlocked the door to his apartment that is when she changed to her human form and jump scare him.

"Boo!" she said from behind, he turned around and pinned her to the wall next to them.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I was just messing with you but it seems like you want to choke me" she trembled.

"Oh- I am sorry" he said and left his grip.

"So" Hazel said as she breathe "You stay alone" she pointed to his house "and play with Avengers action figures?" 

Rumlow sighed and pinched his nose "Come inside with me"

"Dad! You are back!" a dark haired boy ran to him, he was probably seven or eight.

"What a pleasant surprise! You have a kid, I assume you are married" Hazel said "Marvel wiki missed this part" she said to herself.

"My wife left me, 5 years ago" Rumlow explained. 

"Is she Ms. Edwards?" asked the boy, Hazel nodded "Dad keeps talking about you" he shook her hand.

"Who knows about this little devil?" Hazel asked.

"Pierce and Fury, I joined Hydra because Pierce- Rio, go to your room, it's midnight" the child went to his room and Rumlow continued "I joined Hydra because Pierce threatened Rio's life, I couldn't risk his life. I joined in and now it's just a-"

"Habit? Daily routine? It's ok, you are a good father, Rumlow" Hazel hugged him, she read his mind and was shocked he really was speaking the truth.

"Y-You can call me Brock" he said as they parted.

"Ok, Brock. Did you know that the actor that plays you in my universe has a son named Rio and Rio looks like Rio-oh well!" she smiled "So, Rio said you talk about me, that is true? Cause when a child says something, it is 100 % true, if they say you are handsome, you are, if they say you bad, you are. So?"

"Oh! It's nothing just some casual things, not the important ones, otherwise SHIELD will suspect us" he said.

"βλάκας" she chuckled and kissed his cheek "Bye, gotta see you at 7 tomorrow- I mean today, it is past midnight"
