Y/n pulled the doors to the apartment open and walked inside. The [Hair color] boy walked up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Bag in hand, fumbling with a pair of keys. He unlocked the door and walked in.

"Ah Y/n there you are" Keiko smiled as she turned to her grandson.

"Hey Grandma" Y/n smiled, as he walked to the kitchen.

"So this is your grandson Keiko" Another voice was heard.

Y/n placed the bag down and walked back to the living room.

"Grandma who is this" Y/n asked turning his head to the stranger.

The women had grey hair and was wearing a nurse outfit.

"Y/n this is Recovery girl or Chiyo Shunzenji, she's the UA nurse" Keiko explained.

"Ah I see, Hi I'm Y/n L/n as you already know " Y/n awkwardly smiled as he spoke.

Chiyo smiled at the awkward teenager.  L Pokeball shook in Y/n's pocket.

"I got some things I gotta do in my room, nice meeting you Ms. Shunzenji" Y/n quickly spoke before rushing.

"What a kind young man, you've raised him well Keiko" Chiyo nodded to Keiko who only smiled.

"Alright L relax" Y/n said to the shaking Pokeball. He released L who was frantically looking around. "Relax L, what got you so worked up" Y/n whispered to keep the two old ones from walking in to check the noise.

Y/n patted L's head and guided L to the bed.

"Just relax, it's ok" Y/n said soothing the wolf Pokémon.

Y/n grabbed his computer and sat on the bed next to L. It was only a couple of minutes when L was pacing around the room knocking things over. Y/n shut of his computer to relax the dark type.

"Y/n is everything ok?" Keiko asked, from the living room.

"Yeah-" Y/n paused knowing Chiyo was still out there "Just knocked over some things that's all" Y/n lied still trying to relax L.

'Maybe he needs fresh air' Y/n thought. "Wanna head to the forest we can go on a walk Y/n asked.

L jumped around. Y/n smiled at the wolf. He placed L in his Pokeball and opened the window throwing down the latter. Y/n got to the bottom and walked towards to forest.

As soon as they got their Y/n released L who ran deeper into the forest.

"L HOLD UP" Y/n called out chasing L.

It was only 20 minutes into the chase as the sun was setting. When Y/n caught up he saw a whole pod of rockruff and lycanrock, and L who was protectively staring over them. Y/n knew what this meant, but he didn't want to believe it.

"This is your pack isn't it" Y/n asked to confirm. L nodded. Y/n walked to L putting his head against the Dark type. "I understand this is where you need to be, but you'll always be able to come back." y/n smiled, but he was crying. Remembering when he rescued L when he was just a Rockruff. Y/n summoned L ball and smashed it. Y/n gave the dark type one last hug before watching as the Dark Lycanrock walked off into the darker parts of the forest.

Y/n cried as he turned and walked home, knowing he had to let go. Y/n climbed up the latter trying not to cry anymore. He rolled up the latter and shut the window.

"Y/n where did y- Hunny why are you crying" Keiko asked Y/n.

"I had to let him to to Grandma" Y/n whispered not to be quite, but because he didn't have the heart to speak any louder.

"Who Hunny?" Keiko asked.

"L" Y/n broke down more as he said that one letter.

"Oh hunny" Keiko walked to the Y/n and hugged him tight. "I'm sorry I know how close you two were"

"I had to I didn't wanted him to be miserable" Y/n hugged back.

"It hurts to have to let go of someone I know that" Keiko sat with Y/n on his bed.

"It just hurts" Y/n cried.

"It will hurt for a while, Hunny" Keiko comforted as Y/n cried.
