Its a normal evening in my house, me, Lexi and Cas are watching a movie whilst our mom is getting drunk again. It's not a suprise anymore, we're used to it. It's just scary, she doesn't lash out on them she lashes out on me.. I don't wanna end up at Maddys again tonight, I feel like i really bother her when i go. Even tho she probably doesn't mind- my overthinking gets the better of me sometimes.

We're watching 'to all the boys i've loved before' for the 50th time, it's just a movie you can't get over it's so good, it's funny though because Cassie hasn't watched it before, me and Lex are sitting here laughing at her as she makes assumptions about what's gonna happen.

"Josh is such a good guy, but she's defo gonna go for Peter. I mean who wouldn't he's so hot I defo couldn't resist." Cassie says really seriously, she was so focused. Me and Lexi look at eachother and couldn't hold in our laughter. Cassie started getting annoyed because we were laughing at her and threw a pillow at lexi and the popcorn bowl on her lap went flying when the pillow hit it- then we all started laughing. While we are all in hysterics our mom walks in, we all shut up and she looks directly at me. She lunges at me and grabs my hair and pulls me to the floor.

"CLEAN THIS UP NOW GABI, YOUR SO SLOPPY THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. CLEAN IT CLEAN IT CLEAN IT." mom shouts at me. my eyes tear up as I try to explain without baiting out Lexi. "M- Mom it wasn't my fault I- I swear please s- stop" I say inbetween breaths

"Mom it wasn't her i was the one holding the bowl." Lexi says but mom doesn't care, she just pulls my hair harder. Finally Lex and Cas pulled her off of me and I run to my room crying.
When i get there i sit on my bed and try to control my breaths.

Once i've calmed myself down i pick up my phone and dial maddys number..

G-"Maddy?"
M-"Hey baby, you okay?"
G-"No mads she did it again, she pulled me across the room by my hair. can i come to yours please?"
M-"Gabs im so sorry i'm not home, i'm at Nates. do you need me to come home and pick you up??"
G-"Oh, no no don't worry, i'll call Fez, i'm sure he'll let me come. I'll let you know when i'm there, thank you anyway- Love you."
M-"Love you too, call me if you need anything and i'll come get you."
G-"Thank you Mads, Bye."

I hang up the phone and pick up a pillow and scream into it. I start crying again when Lexi walks in and sits on the bed next to me and pulls me into a hug. I let go of the pillow and turn into her body and let all my tears out. I'm so fed up of this house, i need to get out.

Once Lexi calmed me down she went to get me water and i picked my phone back up and went to dial Fez's number, I froze and thought to myself that i've never stayed there before.. where would i even sleep? with Ash? with Fez? even though that would be weird. on the couch? i don't know, but all i know is i need to call him or i'm never getting out of here. i dialed his number and it rings for a bit until he picked up:

G-"Fez? you there?"
F-"Hey man, you good?"
G-"Fez i'm so sorry but she did it again, please can i come to yours? Maddy is at Nates so i can't go there. I'll love you forever."
F-"Of course what the hell man, i'll be there in five sis, and you already do love me forever."
G-"Of course i do, just had to convince you more, thank you fez, i'll wait outside. love you"
F-"Love you too. see you soon"

Lexi came back up with my water and I told her i was staying at Fez's and that I might be back tomorrow.

"I'm gonna go to Cas and say bye, come with and then you can walk me out to fez?" i say to Lex, she went bright red and i pulled a face at her confused. "Lex?" she didn't answer "Earth to Lexi?" i say waving my hand in her face.

"Huh oh hey sorry i zoned out" she says, still blushing.

"Lex.. DO YOU LIKE FEZ?? AHHHH YOU LIKE FEZZZZZ" i scream like an excited little girl, i completely forget that i was crying 2 minutes ago.

"No shut upppp i don't like him.." she says trying to convince me.

"Okay whatever you say love, come on let's go to Cas."

After I went to say bye to Cassie, Fez messaged me saying he was outside- I snuck out my window as to avoid my mom with Lexi and she walked me to the car. Its really awkward with them so i knew she liked him, but i hug her goodbye and get in the car with Fez.

"Hey sis you okay?" Fez asked concerned pulling me into a hug over the gear stick.

"Yeah, Yeah i'm okay now your here Fez." I say to him digging my head into his shoulder, I don't know what i would do without Fez, and Ash of course.

He pulled away and gently touched the warn down bruise on my face from the last time my mum hit me. he frowned and i smiled at him, not wanting him to feel bad.

"Come on, let's go get you comfy in bed." Fez says. I feel safe when i'm with him.

AYE THAT WAS THE FIRST CHAPTER OF THE FIRST BOOK IVE EVER WROTE. SO PROUD OF MYSELF MAN.
