Chapter 5

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!"

Doc stormed out of the room.

 "Youlittlesh*tsalwaysfightingandbreakingbonesjustwaittillIgetmyhandsonyou! Jane, you will stay here until I get back. Is that clear?"

Jane grinned. "Don't worry doc, I've got Seraphinus here to keep me company!"

The doctor ran off to terrorize some poor kid who was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Hey Seraphinus, let's get out of here!" Jane said.

Seraphinus smiled. "Sure."

Meanwhile, the gray haired girl was climbing out of the bushes.

That no-good cripple! I'll destroy her next time I see her!

Her eyes widened as she saw Jane, back turned, and happily saying "Woo! Freedom!"

She darted out from the bushes and grabbed Jane by the collar.

"Got you, you little b*tch! I've got a bone to pick with you!"

You again? "Hey, is this about earlier? I thought we were over that already. Come on, let's forget and make up, okay?"

"YOU THREW ME OUT THE WINDOW!"

"And you broke my arm. So let's call it even."

Stone Girl growled. "SHUT YOUR FILTHY MOUTH!" She punched at Jane.

Jane brought her cast up to defend, but before the blow could connect the girl froze. "S-Seraphinus?"

Ha. Suck it. 

"Uh.."

"Stand down."

"Am I supposed to be scared?" Stone Girl smirked, but she was clearly nervous. "So I've heard rumors about you... but how strong can you be if you hang around this weakling all day long?"

Seriously?

"So how about you leave and mab-!"

Seraphinus punched her.

Stone Girl flew backwards into the wall.

What the heck was that? He didn't even move!

"Don't waste my time." Seraphinus said. 

B*tch! Don't speak down to me!

"Go to hell!" Stone Girl shouted, throwing a punch at Seraphinus who dodged it.

Seraphinus clocked her over the head, knocking her unconscious.

Dusting himself off, Seraphinus turned to Jane. "So where did you want to go?"

"How about a drink?"

"Sure, but it's on you."

Jane glanced at the unconscious girl on the ground. 

"Wait up!" She called, running after Seraphinus.
