Wirt smiled at her answer and began to leave the room. Beatrice laid back easy in her bed and began to doze off.......NO! Beatrice thought to herself. She couldn't fall asleep. She couldn't continue to dream. Even if it meant she would never sleep again. But she couldn't help it. Things began to get darker and darker. She tried to fight it but it began to become uncontrollable. She seemed to have been falling even farther back into the inky blackness of sleepy time. The weird thing was that she wasn't even that sleepy. She almost felt like someone was forcing her. She felt like she couldn't breathe. She began to gasp for air as it became harder. She took her arms out in front of her and began to grab onto something that wasn't even there. She was just about to give into the sleepiness when she heard some footsteps. And, as it was her first time and probably her last, she was relieved to see Sara. Beatrice began to gasp for air even more. She was awake but she still couldn't breathe. What was going on with her?! Sara walked in and showed a sign of disgust. "Really, Beatrice? I know your ugly but, eewww! Do you have to make funny faces like that? Wait! Oh my God! Help! Someone get help! She's suffocating! Hurry!" Sara said as she began to mess with the buttons on the heart monitor. Men in white lab coats began to rush in and give her CPR. Beatrice began to give up and everything went black..... She woke up and saw a world with vivid colors and nothing but smiling faces. There where children even younger than 8 months running around without a care. And without a mother to supervise them. There was fresh water flowing from nowhere and the grass was greener than ever. Beatrice had a smile as wide as ever and she began to run and jump without a care in the world when she bumped into a woman. She was amazed. She was able to speak to her. Not like she had 5 senses though. But like she had 500 senses. "Hello, Beatrice." The woman said. Beatrice was amazed by how the woman knew her name, and even more so how Beatrice knew the woman's name as well, even though she knew she had never met her before. "Hello Dianne." Beatrice said. She had no idea how she knew her name. "So, Beatrice. What do you think of this place?" Dianne asked. Beatrice just smiled and thought about how beautiful this place was and Dianne knew exactly what she was thinking. They had a long conversation. Dianne spoke about how she had six children and died when she was 56 from lung cancer. She spoke about how miserable being away from home was. She said she lost her voice when she got lung cancer and she couldn't sing at her church anymore. She talked about how she had three boys and three girls. Bonnie, Isaac, Hannah, Isaiah, Rebecca, and then Elijah. Dianne spoke about how she couldn't wait to see her children again because God said she would see all of her children again and how she would get to become a grandmother like she wanted. Beatrice began to smile in joy of all of Dianne's funny stories about her father. About the story of the red worms and how her father was the best fisherman she knew. Beatrice Was about to tell her some of her stories when God said it was time for her to go back to Earth. Beatrice looked back at Dianne and waved as the beautiful land seemed to get farther and farther away. Everything became bright and she heard a voice that was almost as sweet as Dianne's. "Beatrice! Give her some air! She's waking up!" The voice said. Beatrice opened her eyes and took a deep breath of air as she looked at Wirt and almost as quickly she hugged him.
