Ch.3 The Purple Rose

Alice's POV

It's been about two or three months since we were turned twelve. I feel weird and I've been having visions... I think I'm in love with someone.... In my family... I'm glad Bella blocked all the girl's mind because Edward is telling on everything. Last week I put a dirty sock in his bed and he told it as me. Urgh! I could just strangle him!

" Bella.", I spoke softly.

" What's up Alice?", she smiled sweetly.

" Can we go on a walk?", I asked.

" No problem. Esme heard we were and I think she's let us.", she notioned to her ears when saying heard, on account of our vampire hearing.

Once we were about twenty-seven miles from our house I stopped and looked at her.

" Look. I like someone in our family, and I can trust you to keep a secret.", I spilled.

" Go on.", she encouraged.

" It's Jasper. I just feel so close to him, and lately we've been hanging out. I don't know what to do...", I sighed putting my face in my hands.

" It's okay. I'll talk to him for you. Just see who he likes.", she smiled and hugged me.

Bella's POV

" Thanks Bella. You're the best. Oh and, race ya' back!", we raced fast and for a long time. Finally we reached the house. Esme took Alice, Rosalie, Edward, and Emmett shopping while me, Nessie, Jake, and Jasper stayed behind.

I raced to his room and saw him sighing while looking out the window. He turned to me and tried a smile but failed.

" Jasper. Who do you like-like?", I asked. He thought,

" From this house.", I added. He got up and put his arms on my shoulders.

" Bella, if you like me and want to go out then-", he was cut-off by a growl and Jake shaking violently behind me.

" She's mine.", he twitched.

" No, Jasper not me. I mean- Wait what? Yours?", I asked shocked and turned to Jacob.

" Can't you see I love you. Bella?", Jacob asked with love in his eyes and plastered on his face. I backed up and Jasper got in front of me with a protective arm hiding me behind him.

" Look, dog. Go back downstairs and make out with Renesme like you guys do everyday.", he hissed.

Jacob snarled and walked back down stairs.

" What was it you were saying, Bella?", Jasper asked.

" Do you like someone from this house?", I asked.

" If you promise not to tell.... I like Alice.", he put his hands in his pockets and looked at the floor.

" Perfect. Ask her out.", I whispered as the car pulled into the drive way. He jumped out the window and I heard him run off. He was back in a second with a purple rose. He smiled and hugged me.

" You're the best sister ever.", he grinned happily before meeting Alice downstairs.

I walked down and saw Jake staring at me. He looked angry and I stuck my tounge out.

" I know it might seem wrong, but... Mary Alice Brandon Cullen. Would you like to go out with me?", Jasper smiled handing her the rose. She smiled and twisted it in her hands before looking up at him and saying Yes. They hugged. How cute!

" It's not wrong at all. Kids me and Carslile have something to tell you.", Esme whispered and sat down on the couch. We all gathered around her.

" Well?", Emmett asked impatiently.

" Emmett, Alice, Rosalie, Jasper, and Edward... You are all only childs. Renesme and Bella are related.", Esme smiled.

" Emmett and Alice are Emmett McCarty and Mary Alice Brandon. Rosalie Lillian Hale and Jasper Whitlock. Renesme Carlie Swan and Isabella Marie Swan are sisters. Edward Anthony Masen Jr. only child. Jacob Black is an only child. Well, you are all adopted. Everyone of you. I was unable to have children so, you were our substitues. Doesn't mean we love you less. You are our children.", Esme smiled.

" Whoa.", we all said.

*FEW WEEKS LATER AFTER THINGS WEREN'T AS AKWARD*

" Bella can we take a jog? Oh shield our minds.", Emmett started racing and I chased after him. Finally we stopped in the next state over.

" What's up Em?", I asked.

" Bella. You know how we are all not related, and Alice and Jasper are a couple now?". he asked with a grin.

" Yeah.", I answered. He must have misread my expression because next thing you know he kissed me.

" You don't know how long I've wanted to do that.", He smiled.

Maybe this is what is supposed to happen. He kissed me again and this time I kissed back. After a second or three I heard a rustling in the bush and Edward sprang out and puched Emmett away.

" WHAT THE HELL?", I yelled.

" Bella, you're mine.", Edward looked in my eyes but then Emmett and him began fighting and I was frozen in confusion. Our whole family bounded through the woods and asked me what happened they btoh stopped and pointed to me.

" She's mine!", they both yelled and started fighting again.

" Emmett let's go.", I whispered. I heard Edward gasp and me and Emmett started racing home. Why did I pick him? He technically asked first.
