Ch. 9 "What?"

Bella's POV

" What?", I sniffled.

" It's just... Bella. Since the first time I laid eyes on you... I've...ummm.... I fell in love with you.", Alec stuttered nervously. It took me a minute to take in the words. He looked hurt that I hesitated. Letting my hand go, he started to walk away. I washed away the tears and ran after him. Turning him around I crushed my lips to his. He kissed back and hugged me close.

Finally he let go. I clung to him. Not even able to lose eye contact or touch he held me close as we walked. I was concentrating on him but found where we were headed. I stopped. He looked at me quickly, unsure.

" Alec, I don't want to go back yet. I want to stay with you, because I love you. We can go back tomorrow but. I can't yet. I won't be able to face... Tanya and.... Him....", I murmered. He nodded and lead me somewhere, but by the time I looked I knew where.

Alice's POV

My vision was clear. It was Alec and Bella together. Very confusing because the vision was clear, as if meant for me to see. I looked over at Edward and Tanya was making out with him. I rolled my eyes. Jake and Renesme were watching TV, Rose and Emmett the usual kissing session around this time. I looked up to see Carlisle and Esme.

" Where's Bella?", Esme asked in her frightened motherly voice.

" Volterra. With Alec.", I sighed.

" What?", Edward whispered. I glared at him and Tanya.

" And it's all this one's fault! Tanya you just had to go and 'dazzle' stupid 'Eddie'! Wow. You two love birds can go jump off a bridge for all I care! GO SOAK IN A VOLCANO! Bella might not even come back!", I snarled.

" I'll kill you if she doesn't come back. She's like a sister to me.", Jasper glared.

I went up to my room and Jasper followed. I fell asleep and he slept on the chair by my bed. I just hope Bella comes back.
