"It's so darn cold today."
Jungkook blew into his hands to keep them warm. Suga yawned, scratching his head. He was eating chocolate biscuits.
"Gimme one, please~?" Jimin moaned, looking up at Suga. Suga shook his head, eating another biscuit.
"How can we have a spring collection when it's raining outside?" J-Hope asked, laughing at the absurdity. You shook your head pitifully.
Great. You thought.
Now I'm going to get fired, and Li will be left with the boys by herself.
You heard the door open to the studio. It was Jin.
"Late!" V cried, rushing over to tackle him. "Fifty push-ups!"
Jin laughed and pushed him away.
"I was shopping." Jin said simply, holding up two shopping bags. "I'm making a hot lunch. It's freezing! Anybody want to help?"
Everybody looked around, not wanting to. Jin rolled his eyes.
"Well... Seeing as none of you can cook, how about you, (Y/N)?"
He looked at you. You were startled, but nodded.
"Ok, sure." You said, following Jin into the kitchen.
"Oh!" You called over your shoulder, "My design book is on that chair over there. Look through it and see what outfits you like."
The boys all agreed and went to your book, V and Jimin yelling "me first!"
Rap Monster came to the kitchen and sat at the table.
"Wanna cut an onion?" Jin asked him. Rap Monster shrugged. Jin handed him a cutting board, a knife and two onions.
"He doesn't talk much, does he?" You whispered to Jin. Jin, who was already cutting up octopus, nodded.
"He probably has a cold; he's very sensitive to cold. He gets sick so easily..." Jin explained. You looked over at Rap Monster. His face was pale and his eyes dark. He had a scarf wrapped high around his neck and ears. He was definitely sick.
You felt a twinge of guilt surge through you as you turned away. No, you couldn't feel sorry for him. Li would definitely see. Luckily she was out for now, most likely making arrangements or schedules. You put a heavy pot on the stove and turned it to high.
"Here." Rap Monster said huskily, handing you the chopping board with the onions on it. They were chopped very rough; Rap Monster could hardly speak. You took it from him and tipped it into the pot.
The other boys were yelling in the studio.
"Jimin!" Jungkook called out. You peered in the studio and saw Jimin sitting on Jungkook, flexing his arms into Jungkook's face. You spluttered into laughter. Jin also laughed.
"They're always like that to our maknae." Jin smiled. Rap Monster chuckled a little bit. Suga yelled: "Again! Again!"
You sighed the last bit of laughter away as you decided to make everybody some tea. Jin was cutting up vegetables and making a paste at the same time; you felt almost unworthy to be in the same kitchen.
"Wow, you're a great cook." You said to him. Jin smiled.
"Thanks." He said. "I enjoy it."
Rap Monster stood up.
"All I can cook is white rice." He chuckled. You smiled and looked at him. Jin chucked a bag of rice grains at RapMon without even turning around.
"Then do it, would you?" He said. You giggled. Rap Monster winked at you and said "Ok, Jin-sama."
"Really?" Jin sighed as Rap Monster laughed. "Since when was I Japanese?!"
You turned around and peered into the studio. You weren't expecting what you saw.
The boys were all lying on their stomachs, their heads met in a circle. Your design book was in the middle. The boys were quiet, except Jimin muttering something about not liking yellow. You smiled to yourself; Jimin had red and white to wear in your collection.
Suddenly, the door burst open. Li had come in noisily, the door hitting the wall loudly. The boys stopped looking at your book and looked up.
"Hi Li!" V smiled. "How's things going?"
Li sighed dramatically and smiled to herself.
"I got you boys a new album title, sorry Suga; you don't need to do this one. I've got it covered."
Suga looked disgruntled but nodded at Li. She dropped her bag dangerously close to your book.
"Hey, watch it!" J-Hope said angrily. He picked up your book and put it on the table, throwing Li a look. You smirked to yourself. Li ignored J-Hope and made her way to the kitchen. Jin sighed.
"Uh oh, here we go." Jin muttered.
Li stepped into the kitchen, looking you up and down. She eyes your scruffy Converse suspiciously. You looked her up and down; her Chanel and Alexander McQueen based outfit. She looked so classy and rich; you pulled down your sleeves and looked at her.
"Hi, Li. How are you?" You asked. Li forced a smile.
"Excellent. I got the boys a record deal-"
"You said Suga and I would be writing the songs from now on; not to mention the rest of Bangtan too?"
Li, Jin and yourself turned to face the voice. Rap Monster looked at Li with angry eyes.
"Well..." Li looked nervous. "I-I did, but you see, we need to-"
"Call the deal off." RapMon said. Li looked at Jin nervously, almost for sympathy or help. Jin shrugged.
"Yoongi and Namjoon write the songs, not some random you've only met once." Jin said.
Li looked infuriated.
"Fine!" Li cried. "But don't expect me to help you when this album needs to be out! We have less than two months to get this done and we're not even halfway through the tracks!"
Jin sighed, stirring the bubbling pot of lunch.
"Li, maybe you should reconsider your work." RapMon said.
Li looked murderous. She looked at you angrily and stormed out the studio.
