The drive to the area where the teens were staying for the next five days was a long one. At least there was air conditioning and the ride was comfortable, for they were in an RV. The RV has about two bedrooms, a living room area, a kitchen area, and bathroom. Finn, being the oldest out of them, nineteen years old, and going to college once the summer ended was driving. Seth sat in the passenger seat with him, both of them talking to each other throughout the ride. The others, Dean, Roman, Kenny, and a girl, Marissa, were sitting in the living room area.
Marissa is a girl from their school. She has short blonde hair and green eyes, is shy, and is a friend of Seth's from his art class. Over the past couple of weeks, Seth introduced her to Kenny, figuring that they might make a good couple. So far, the two of them have only hung out together when they were both around Seth, not just them by themselves. They have gone on dates, Seth and Finn accompanying them. Kenny thought she was nice, she seemed attractive too. He hasn't dated anyone for a while and was up for the idea when Seth offered it to him. Still, there was something was missing. He found that he didn't feel anything more towards Marissa, except for just seeing her as a good friend. But he figured that that was because he didn't know much about her yet, hasn't had time to be with her when it was just them. So, this trip might be a chance to work out his feelings on that.
They finally arrive at their destination hours later. A nice forested area, which is near a lake. Finn stops the RV, and everybody grabs their bags, getting off. They would be setting up tents outside of the RV, wouldn't sleep in the rooms inside. Only time they would go inside is for cooking food, use the bathroom, or if any of them wanted a little 'private time' with each other. Which was something Roman had planned for Dean later during the trip. He had a surprise for him and wanted to try out something different. He didn't tell Dean the exact details of it, just that he knew that he would love it.
The group goes to work on setting up their tents. Seth and Finn have a little trouble getting theirs up, same with Dean and Roman, but eventually that is finished, and now they have to decide next on what to do.
"What do you guys want to do now?" Seth asks everybody.
"Well, it would be nice to go swimming. Especially on a hot day like this." Roman replies.
"I agree." Kenny nods. "It would be relaxing and help cool us all off."
"Okay. There's a lake down the trail that leads through the woods, about a five-minute walk from here. We can head down there and go swimming." Seth says, grabbing onto Finn's arm, leading him into the RV so they can change.
Dean sits down near the firepit next to Roman, taking ahold of his hand "I hope you're still up for the idea I had in mind for tomorrow."
"Of course I am, babe." Roman replies, looking over at him. What Dean had planned for him and Roman to do tomorrow was to go hunting for some food. Dean had called up Sami's dad, asking if he could borrow the rifle from him. The man let him, so as long as he wouldn't damage it. Roman was a bit reluctant to do this but somehow Dean had ended up convincing him.
After they had gotten changed, the group makes their way down the trail to the lake. It took about five minutes before they made it there. They could see the blue water through the trees, and hear it. Once they're at the lake's edge, they all jump in. The water is cool and nice, though a bit murky. Still, the group spends time swimming around in it. It's a fun experience for them, and relaxing.
After about an hour in the water and playing around, they exit it. They lay out towels on the ground, laying on them to get their bodies dry. Dean and Roman cuddle next to each other, kissing here and there. Seth and Finn doing the same but not as much as the other two. Finn was currently telling Seth about what he wanted to take up in college, while Seth was sipping on a drink that he had brought with him.
