Title: best and (arguably) the brightest
He reads and annotates the books Tenya reccommends him, and Tenya listens to all of Katsuki's carefully curated study playlists (They're sorted by mood, genre, subject, and tempo). They scold each other for even thinking of overworking themselves, in their academic or heroics studies. They hold one another after either boy wakes up shaken by vivid memories, whether they be of an alley in Hosu or the basement of a bar in Kamino Ward. They argue, they trade insults back and forth, but they don't fight. Their personalities just so happen to compliment each other in a way Tenya hadn't even thought possible.
And yet, there's only one issue:
Class 1-A doesn't know. And no, not because either boy preferred to keep their relationship under wraps. The class just... doesn't know. You know, you'd think a group of future professional superheroes, society's "Best and Brightest," if you will... would be a little less dense.
(Or; a BakuIida reveal fic that precisely 1 (one) person asked for)
